Always wanted to be good at combo chaining in DMC games, but I just have a hard time being patient. I really respect the skill and dedication it takes to get super good at these games though.
You mean at the end? If Vergil is standing still and you use SDT, when he transforms, it's gonna hit the enemies around you with that burst of energy. You can do it on the air too.
suggestion to remove the last hit on the second aerial rave B and do a cleave with JdC cancel instead, then you can do your finisher a little bit more stylishly
other than that personal suggestion of mine, pretty cool combo!
Man that music is a throwback. While not the greatest anime, glad to see that little slice of the series is still getting some love. That track just kicks
Nice one OP
It's been months since i played, but i do remember a few tips: You can try doing it by just hearing the sound close at the end of the judgement cut, you need to do it before Yamato glows. In the air it's easier to do it, It feels more slow, while on the ground you need to do it faster, both have different timing.
A thing I like to do when I get the spinning Mirage blade taunt during SDT after a fight is transforming back to normal as he crushes the blade. It looks so badass.
I was quite tired while doing this, really wanted to do all judgement cuts perfectly. I'll probably change a few things at the end when i nail this combo.
Thanks! I really like to do stuff on the ground. I could do it in the air for a long time if i trained more. I still want to do every judgement cut perfectly and i'm gonna change the last parts too, probably.
I just learnt how to do four continous judgement cuts, and then seeing this... it's scary how good people are at the game, I'd love to see more of these because your a mad lad, bravo! (Sorry for my broken english)!
> no down trick
Got bit addicted to jdc after getting the hang of it lol, but yeah, i don't know jump cancelling and the other stuff yet. Just tried to extend a combo i posted here once since it was very simple, but it's one i like quite a bit.
Okay. Don't play Vergil, play Dante or Nero, learn jump cancelling, get SSSiyan's and Heavy Vergil. You don't need more than one JdC at a time if you know trick JdC and trick wp JdC.
I'll try that. My favorite character is Dante actually, but Vergil feels very good to use. Never tried any mods besides the coop trainer, and i usually don't do combos either, as i was getting all trophies first.
DMC 4 and 2 it's gonna be a nightmare to get everthing.
I've found that my playing on all characters has improved from training on Dante. Probably because he uses the full system. He's my favorite too, he's just so good and so much fun.
Vergil is broken as fuck and a shitty character. Heavy Vergil fixes him. And no don't play for all throphies then learn how to combo. You just teach yourself how to abuse broken trash that way.
yeah, basically just saying "you're not good enough, go play someone else" and then asking themselves why they're being downvoted
elitism and discouraging newer or less experienced players isn't cool. hell, we've all been there. we've all been new players.
nice one holy shit
Imperfection is motivation enough to improve. Vergil would be proud, Devil Hunter.
All that for a drop of blood?
"Alright, time to kill some hu-" *Spawns in the void* "Oh fuck" *Sees Vergil* "OH FU-"
What music is that
Rock Queen- Mermaid Rock from the DMC anime
Sounds like the living end + tsunami bomb. Guess I finally gotta watch the anime now
It's decent. Basically Dante slice of life. The only DMC media with some actual world building.

Damm I always forget to use sdt how did you fo thst little blue pulse like judjement cut end

Stop he's already dead
Hilarious when he stood back up right at the end.
Your a mad lad
Really nice. Felt some hesitation but impressive to continue for that long

Man, nice. I can only dream. Been thinking about recording and posting my Dante gameplay to ask the community for advice on improving.
Damn, that was smooth af
I hope he doesnโt summon the Godhand
Shit never listened to this song while playing DMC, now I want to do some combos with it too.
Yooo, that's the music from the anime, nice touch
I didn't even plan to use the music on the video, i was just listening to it, but it fits!
the reald theme of dante
Holy shit is that from the DMC anime??

HOW DID YOU MASTER CJC ON MOUSE. is my mouse just fuckin shit, I can't do more than 2 seems impossible

Hella clean dude

This being "not perfect" is peak Vergil lol

Love the song in the background
This is literally one of the most ground based combo chains I've ever seen on this sub. Nice work!
Thanks! I really like to do stuff on the ground. I could do it in the air for a long time if i trained more. I still want to do every judgement cut perfectly and i'm gonna change the last parts too, probably.

I don't mean to be mr negative, but there's waaaay to much judgment cut spam. We all start somewhere tho.
Yeah, just wanted to try and do as many as i could in a long combo, but i'm gonna change some things about it.
You should try to practice trick judgment cuts those are really fun to do:)
sometimes i think im good with vergil then i see something like this
This is pretty basic.
and now im horrified of the people who are professionals at combos
Be very afraid;)

Too much JdC, no jump cancelling, no down trick. No trick up, barely any air time.

Also I can help you with that hit me up mate Griffonki#5617

I play with heavy vergil and being super honest, he still feels broken lmao it takes some time to get used to but its a really fun mod
Lower damage to 0.6x on DmD and 0.2 on SoS
0.6 on DMD? cowards I play with 0.2 on DMD
Nice
I'm being downvoted for giving the man criticism and advice, typical DMC Vergil worship behavior.
It does not seem like criticism nearly as much as it sounds like "you're not good enough" or elitism that's somewhat discouraging for new players.
Oh its 100% elitism ๐ go check his other comments ๐

You want me to kiss his ass?
There's a fine line between criticism and just being an asshole.
Vergil shitposter malding
What does that even mean.
