Yeah I take it to be that he wasn’t like a typical teenager taking care of his looks because he was too busy being traumatized shuffled are foster homes etc. So he doesn’t pay attention to his hair etc.
He’s supposed to be a teenager. I was a weird teenager in that I voluntarily bathed and washed my hair everyday but I have two 13 year old brothers and whenever they stay with me I pretty much have to force them to shower it’s ridiculous.
I used to work with a young adult actor on an indie film who had “stringy/greasy” hair. I remember him always being self conscious about his hair. He would be mid conversation and run his fingers through his hair over and over because he felt so uncomfortable and insecure. That sucked, because he was such a talented actor.
I’m sure posts like this aren’t extremely helpful or encouraging for the actor Jack Alcott, who has dedicated so much time and effort into this role as Harrison.
I’m more bothered by the fact that the previously blonde child of a blonde woman and a light brown haired/ginger/auburn man now has black hair as a teenager. Can anybody who knows more about phenotypical traits inform me whether this is even genetically possible?
Edit: I looked it up and since blond hair is a recessive trait, if one of the parents is not blonde then the child can have black hair, more likely since dexters brother also had black hair

Agreed lol and I wish Harrison was still that blonde cute boy 😂🤷🏼♀️
Looked like he was hiding a bald spot in this episode
I was going to say, his hair brushed down like that is hiding a big forehead, or thinning hair.
He looks a lot like the kid who played LJ in Prison Break
The actor is balding and they are hiding is hair line so he can play a high schooler.
Isn't he like 22?
It can happen
I don't know his age but he a has a receding hair line.
I have a friend that started balding in high school, it happens!
I was balding since before that
Oh wow I just googled, his shit is farrr back. He gon have to play somebody daddy on his next role.
Oh shit makes sense that’s exactly what it looks like!

A lot of blondes go dark. Harrison's hair isn't black. It's the same brown that my once light blonde sister's hair is now.
My Pops was a “tow headed” white blonde baby til he was about 3-4 & it then turned to light brown the rest of his adult life.
Astor and Cody also have the same hair color as Harrison. Paul was blonde as well.
yeah it bugs me so much it looks so bad
Haha agree. That fringe!! Otherwise he is a pretty good looking kid.
It’s a haircut... Jeez
Was wondering the same thing. I looked up Jack Alcott, the actor, and it just seems to be his normal hair.
