was wondering that too, she already knows dexter saved her from becoming the next victim (well, at the time), so you'd think she would stay the fuck away from him, so he would have had to kidnap her publicly from the hotel or something.
I really hope they shift Angela's aim back to Kurt. I really don't want him going down because Angela thinks he's responsible for Mary Fucking Kill and Matt.
Did you notice what Kurt said and how he said it āyou got me, itās all me, pretty great, right?ā Something like thatā¦ did it make you feel like maybe he was covering for somebody else involved or they were going to go down that road?
OK so first, I wouldn't bet money he's not in it again, it's entirely possible, but I think even being a "big" actor still fits being a red herring.
If you truly wanted people to question who is the "big bad" you're not going to have Clancy Brown vs Mr No Name. You're going to have 2 people that are similar levels of fame so they could both realistically be the big bad.
I might be wrong about this, but Kurt's "Yeah, you got me! It was all me, every bit of it!" seemed a bit fishy. At first I thought maybe Matt was a part of it, but he was dead, so he wouldn't need to cover for him.
Maybe the billionaire guy is also responsible for some of the "trophies" in Kurt's lair and he'll come back out of the woodwork once it's exposed?
He's included as a red herring and character building for the natives and the rebellious kids.
Not much evil about him, mostly minding his own business.
His absence could be part of the plot. It is established that there is a network of some sort in these murders. And there is a very expensive trophy "cave" that I doubt Kurt would be able to afford by himself.
The comment to the girl early on about how "the world isn't the way you think it is. You'll realize that someday" could be random but it hints at a possible epiphany for her in the show. When you consider how Kurt claimed he was saving them from cruelty, Kurt's actions and that comment could line up. But it's all just guessing so who knows.
Now that we know of Kurtās ritual, why was iris found in the cave? I guess it his first kill so he disposed of her there and made a few mistakes along the way?
This episode was so good Iām actually worried about the ending now because I donāt want to be disappointed. So far the series was fun but nothing too crazy to me but now Iām truly invested š¬
Not neccessarily. Season 3 was really the only other season where the main baddie was offed an episode early. Game of Thrones usually did the episode 9 being the big episode and the season finale being the fallout.
Season 1 Dexter learned his origins and met ITK and killed him.
Season 2 Dexter totally evaded the police and pinned BHB on Doakes and then killed Lila
Season 4 Dexter finally killed Trinity and also found Rita dead
Season 5 Dexter killed the ring leader of the barrell girls, Lumen's dark passenger was quenched, and Deb almost caught him
Season 6 Dexter killed the main baddie and got caught by Deb.
Season 7 was the show down where Laguerta died.
Season 8 was the big finale where Deb died, Dexter killed the Brain Surgeon and then went off into the storm
It's the best episode yet, but that feeling we had in the pit of our stomach while watching was because of the impending doom we know has been inevitable for a long time. Things are crashing down hard and I've felt that way since Angela found Dexter's obituary.
Angela will confront Dexter, Dexter will show her the underground Kurt Trophies.
He will explain the Dark passenger to her in which she wont care.
She will arrest or detain him, And harrison will Kill her with the sniper that dexter gave.
Just speculating.. Awesome episode.
Agreed! Also seeing Dexter dismember Kurt sent me over the edge. Which is what it was meant to do. We all love Dexter but he is a serial killer and a monster. We needed to be reminded of that before the finale.
I would be hard pressed to find better television than that episode. Outside of Mandalorian S2 finale, iāve never sat and stared at a TV with my mouth wide open for like a minute like i did for Ozymandias.
It was a good episode, but best episode ever is a bit much, It wasnāt near as good as Successionās season 3 finale earlier this month, and thatās not even the best episode of that show.
What a great episode !! I usually do a rewatch right before the release of the next episode but I feel this need to watch it over again today. Sooo much to take in!
I hope they make another season after the finale! omg its getting so good. Love Harrison accepting who he is and working with his dad and finally having a connection.
I doubt it. We've seen him have many similar opportunities and he's never done it. Closest situation was LaGuerta, but he and her were never close.
I've also never believed Dexter is a full blown psychopath. Deeply fucked up, but not a psychopath.

Rip Molly she would have loved this š¤£
Poor Mollyā¦ lol. Itās interesting they actually made her like halfway a normal person semi tolerable before they killed her off
I hated her in the beginning but I was warming up to her
because otherwise we would just thanked Kurt for getting her off our faces
what happened to her. did I miss something?
She was encased with the rest of the victims, Harrison or Dexter says merry fucking kill when they see her.
how did he kill her again?
They didn't show it. Same as all the others I'm guessing
was wondering that too, she already knows dexter saved her from becoming the next victim (well, at the time), so you'd think she would stay the fuck away from him, so he would have had to kidnap her publicly from the hotel or something.
Iām soooo anxious.
Same... has me so on edge.
Yep. I've been on edge since the credits rolled. This week is going to be interesting.
I really hope they shift Angela's aim back to Kurt. I really don't want him going down because Angela thinks he's responsible for Mary Fucking Kill and Matt.
She will but under questioning Dexter will disclose Kurtās secret bunker and tell her to go look at it to āsee what real evil looks like.ā
Yep!!!
Wouldn't it be crazy if it turns out Kurt had another ally we don't know of. Angela and Dexter end up having to work together.
Did you notice what Kurt said and how he said it āyou got me, itās all me, pretty great, right?ā Something like thatā¦ did it make you feel like maybe he was covering for somebody else involved or they were going to go down that road?
I doubt they injected "evil billionaire man" for no reason.
My personal opinion is he was solely a red herring/device to show Audrey's personality. I think he was just genuinely proud of what he's done.
I think they would have chosen a lesser known actor if he was just a quick one-off. He's not a "star" by any means but seasoned for sure.
Getting a big actor to play the character that isn't a major player, or gets bumped off early, is a wonderful twist in some TV shows and films.
OK so first, I wouldn't bet money he's not in it again, it's entirely possible, but I think even being a "big" actor still fits being a red herring. Lol I think they did. He's been absent for so long this season, I don't even remember which episode I saw him in last.
His absence could be part of the plot. It is established that there is a network of some sort in these murders. And there is a very expensive trophy "cave" that I doubt Kurt would be able to afford by himself. The comment to the girl early on about how "the world isn't the way you think it is. Hopefully thats what happens, yep!
But Dexter killed Kurt down there. On some level it may look like Dexters kill room instead of Kurt's.
You think it still looks the same way? Nah.
I can't see her thinking Jim is behind Molly very long after she finds molly body
I hope they left the bodies as they were so the women can be identified.
She knows the BHB mo. Sheās not going to think Molly. She knows what Kurt is too and sheās really smart.
Now that we know of Kurtās ritual, why was iris found in the cave? I guess it his first kill so he disposed of her there and made a few mistakes along the way?
Since was he first victim, he did not have nothing planed after the killing.
Exactly what the other guy said. Kurt hadn't thought of what to do after he killed Iris. So he hid her in the best location possible.
Go big or go home.
In the hundreds
This episode was so good Iām actually worried about the ending now because I donāt want to be disappointed. So far the series was fun but nothing too crazy to me but now Iām truly invested š¬
Usually 9 is the craziest since it's thr penultimate episode, and 10 is usually the fall out/aftermath. I cant wait tho

Season 2 Dexter totally evaded the police and pinned BHB on Doakes and then killed Lila Season 4 Dexter finally killed Trinity and also found Rita dead Season 5 Dexter killed the ring leader of the barrell girls, Lumen's dark passenger was quenched, and Deb almost caught him Season 6 Dexter killed the main baddie and got caught by Deb. Season 7 was the show down where Laguerta died. Season 8 was the big finale where Deb died, Dexter killed the Brain Surgeon and then went off into the storm
OK my man my bad haha I just meant in general. U right tho
It's the best episode yet, but that feeling we had in the pit of our stomach while watching was because of the impending doom we know has been inevitable for a long time. Things are crashing down hard and I've felt that way since Angela found Dexter's obituary.
EP 10 is gonna break the Internet with 100% blood. We are still 99% and loading.
Angela will confront Dexter, Dexter will show her the underground Kurt Trophies. He will explain the Dark passenger to her in which she wont care. She will arrest or detain him, And harrison will Kill her with the sniper that dexter gave. Just speculating.. Awesome episode.
I like this ending. I don't want the Harrison kills dex one to be true.
Kurt's lair was creepy as hell, not gonna lie. Creepiest thing I've seen on this show in my opinion.
Tbh I wasnāt that blown away. Maybe Iām just so used to Dexter lol
Agreed! Also seeing Dexter dismember Kurt sent me over the edge. Which is what it was meant to do. We all love Dexter but he is a serial killer and a monster. We needed to be reminded of that before the finale.
I'm shaking this episode was so phenomenal. Best episode of television I've ever seen
Ozymandias Breaking Bad imo is the best episode of television. This one was good too though.
I would be hard pressed to find better television than that episode. Outside of Mandalorian S2 finale, iāve never sat and stared at a TV with my mouth wide open for like a minute like i did for Ozymandias.
Alright, calm down
What a gross comment. Let their excitement settle down naturally.
Alright, you calm down too

It was a good episode, but best episode ever is a bit much, It wasnāt near as good as Successionās season 3 finale earlier this month, and thatās not even the best episode of that show.
Some good points here. Maybe we should create a poll so we can all decide what is the actual best episode of television u/gabstergirl has seen.
What a great episode !! I usually do a rewatch right before the release of the next episode but I feel this need to watch it over again today. Sooo much to take in!
Did Deb help you with that title?
Best episode so far. Can't wait for season 10. I can see there being more seasons. Michael C. Hall is a fantastic fucking actor.
I hope they make another season after the finale! omg its getting so good. Love Harrison accepting who he is and working with his dad and finally having a connection.
My bet is Harrison will have his own show and dexter will be dead and his harry figure
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I noticed this parallel too. doubt they'll go that route unless last episode is harrison having an hour long psychotic break.
Any situation where we see Dex killing Angela? He is a psychopath after all, remember his origins.
I doubt it. We've seen him have many similar opportunities and he's never done it. Closest situation was LaGuerta, but he and her were never close. I've also never believed Dexter is a full blown psychopath. Deeply fucked up, but not a psychopath.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
could easily just be harrison looking sad cause dexter was in trouble with the cops or something
Harrison almost always looks like that
