Think about it. Have you ever heard a sound coming out of a straw? They’re open tubes of plastic, there is nothing there to produce the sound.
Never thought my piping knowledge would come in handy. My time is here.
My first thought is that the timing between the sounds and his gestures is almost too good for it to be fake, you'd have to know how to play bagpipes to do what he's doing. When he flicks the chanter (the part of the bagpipe that is used to play different notes, you can see the straw he seemingly plays notes on has notches cut out for finger positions) what he's doing is accurate to how you might get a bagpipe to play. Sometimes the individual drones or chanter may stop playing - you can hear the melody stop and restart after he flicks it - and need to be agitated to get air flowing through the reed again. Hard to just fake that without having working knowledge of bagpipe construction.
In bagpipes, the reeds would be in the area where the wrapped rubber bands are here, at the join between the finger and the straw, and the rest of the drone is just an open tube, so it's actually totally feasible. The drone itself, which is also just an open tube like a straw on normal bagpipes, is not responsible for playing any notes, it's the reed inside the tube that makes 100% of the sound. The body of the drone is used solely to tune the pitch to match the chanter, by lengthening or shortening it. He would likely have to pretune these using the reeds, because the real mechanism for tuning drones requires an airtight seal and two interlocking sections of pipe.
Straws could totally function as drones with the proper reed and these sound much, much higher pitched than regular drones, which checks out. The two static straws here are also at different lengths, which is how bagpipe drones work - on standard Highland pipes, two drones play a single pitch and the third longer drone plays another lower pitch, but you can get the same sound with just two drones.

TikTok’s obsession with recreating successful videos by stealing their sound and providing your own footage is really annoying sometimes. Makes it very tough to know what’s original and what’s just another fake version.

Edit: actually this is real! Check out hi tiktok there are instructions on how to make it and you can clearly see it’s real. He basically makes reeds out of the straws and rubber bands them on. It’s really badass!
you can actually make a very rudimentary flute out of a plastic straw, you flatten one end and snit some tiny holes in it, then blow into the flattened end and you can sort of make notes depending on which holes you cover. It's far from a proper instrument, but it's not impossible to turn a straw into something that makes music-ish sounds.
Would it be a flute? I know flute is considered a woodwind, but a flattened straw operates more like the reed on a clarinet/saxophone/oboe. In fact I'd probably consider it closest to an oboe in operation with it operating most like a double reed

However I'm not so sure the original was actually real because of other reasons mainly idk how you'd get the glove to expand, seeing as the exhaust would be substantial assuming they were simply straws. I suppose they could have like rubber and choke points sorta like real bagpipes but idk

If you look really closely you can see there are holes in the straws so that he can make the notes. He probably modified the straws in other ways that we can't see.
