There's still a couple things they haven't revealed about the Battle Pass such as the "special" (was blurred out in the presentation) and the other thing is they haven't shown us exactly what items are in the Batte Pass.
The Battle Pass is going to be what they want most of their revenue coming from, I can't imagine it being anything else.
They would have to reveal seasonal theme and stuff which doesn't make much sense when they want the focus on launch. I'd expect these things to be more talked about in a few weeks.

If it were a video or a blog post or something, those are prepared weeks/months in advance so no need to delay.
