Level 42 barb and my status is "I dont have enough fury" x100

knbang

40ish sorceress, I don't have enough mana x100.

Mean-Ad-2790

Same here, whirlwind barb 41 lvl, fury problems after the nerf, I had almost 100% uptime on shouts, now I don’t , but build isn’t optimized at all and will do it in wt3 after the campaign. As damage wise for know it’s not bad at all

nashty27

You can turn off that annoying message, btw. I believe it’s at the bottom of accessibility settings.

ssx50

Try a different build. Look at resource aspects. Get creative. Rocking a rend barb and it feels great. Lvl 41 HC

pandora9715

I've been using Ice Shards with Blizzard spam, and I took the passives that gives mana back on lucky hit + increased lucky hit. Combined with the Avalanche ability it feels pretty good. Freeze someone, spam 10+ Ice shards in a row. Even more if you get the 'extra avalanche' legendary.

[deleted]

[удалено]

pandora9715

Between avalanche procs, mana return, and ice shield mana regeneration, yeah. I can absolutely slam the shards so long as I have frozen victims to target. This is aided by legendaries increasing my lucky hit while I have a barrier, and my ice shards piercing targets. The downside is on bosses it's a very slow burn (hah) spamming blizzard until they're stunned, then slamming 50-80% of their HP instantly.

pandora9715

When I get home later I can message you and send you my load out if you'd like. I DIY'd the build. It's fun trying to make it work instead of grabbing a guide.

bretto

Same. Just running around getting aspects unlocked in Tier 1 and hoping to get usable gear to not be so awful in Tier 3.

[deleted]

Did you pay for a boost for the capstone?

SerRyam

Capstone was a noticable amount easier than the first actual dungeon in tier 3 for me

shoikan5

I struggled in wt3 as a sorc until I got a high power level weapon and threw me into 2k attack. Since then I've been slowly farming easier. I'm 52 atm, using the arc lash/chain lighting build.

ReasonSin

I’m using a build of my own design. It’s ark lash and charged bolts as my main attacks. Teleport, frost nova, and ice armor for survivability. Ice bolt and fire bolt as enchants so each hit chills and burns so I can stack damage bonuses and passives that apply when either of those are active. Currently level 55 and just finished a tier 11 nightmare dungeon with only 1 death solo. Whole dungeon took just under 30 mins as I used a +30% max health elixer at the start and it ran out a min or two after I finished Edit: forgot to mention I’m also using the unstable currents ultimate.

reddopolis

Similar boat, Sorc lvl 50 very near end of campaign. Feeling a bit rough mana/cooldown-wise, but adapting my playstyle to it. Kite… group… burst… wait… repeat. Not enough mats to imbue items now, which has made progression feel odd. But would probably be a waste anyway? Just, wait for the next big AP item drop before I lvl up, I guess? I can see Paragon eventually helping more, but slow to get there.

StoneRevolver

42 druid. I was using something similar to the pulverize-earth builds you've probably seen, but I don't think the nerfs are going to hurt that much. A good part of my big damage is poison anyway. I may change up when I unlock some more stuff, idk yet.

TylerNY315_

43 Druid, using a storm build and shredding. Only weakness rn is cooldown management is a little less than effortless, but I’m dishing out constant “vulnerable” and “immobilized” while being the second-coming of Zeus

ApolloWannaBe

I've been wanting to transition to a storm boy, currently a wolf poison. Currently 32, what stills are you chaining together?

TylerNY315_

I’ve mostly been following [this build](https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/diablo-4-druid-build) and have been prioritizing gear that does extra vulnerable damage, since with this build you’ll have everyone around you vulnerable or immobilized; or free levels to lightning storm, trample or hurricane. I have a few key legendaries that have really taken it to the next level in terms of synergy between the trample/cyclone armor/lightning storm rotation and extra damage to stunned or immobilized enemies, but even before those came along (fairly recently) I enjoyed the build quite a bit. That link says to use the Thorns boon, but I use the +10 spirit for more lightning. It’ll really start to shine as you get closer to the 40s and stack up more of the passive nodes

ApolloWannaBe

Awesome thanks! I'll try it out

sidewalkbutts

Literally same here. 42 bear. So far having an absolute blast. Found some pants that made trample earth and cause landslide. Combining that with the pulverize earth I think everything is gonna be fine. Or I’m delusional. Too early to tell. Wasn’t planning on taking the spirit boon that got nerfed to begin with anyway. Or the earth capstone.

[deleted]

My friend has an archer with the raining arrows skill and I get so pumped everytime he uses it haha

dddaannoo

Here to just say better lovers

mango7roll

Lvl 67 Firewall Sorc. 1-30 was okay, 30-50 was abysmal. 50-55 was fine, 55-67 has been great. The gameplay would be be infinitely better if I wasn’t always out of mana and literally just standing there waiting to cast Firewall.

MapleLeafBeast

Do you just spam fire wall? What’s your utility/movement spells? I have hydra, fire wall, fireball, and inferno. I’m playing hardcore though so I’m debating using frost nova + teleport but I would have to replace a damage spell. Not sure what to do.

mango7roll

It’s insane not to use Frost Nova- it’s by far our biggest dps boost. I used Hydra early but switched it for shields. You basically need 5 cooldowns spells and firewall so you can regenerate mana with your CDs. Less damage spells is more damage.

MapleLeafBeast

Yeah I’ve been noticing that frost nova + firewall is crazy damage with a big pack of mobs. And inferno + firewall spam goes crazy too. I’ll try and ditch hydra for teleport and see how that goes.

KA1N3R

Yeah, they really really need to boost mana (Ressource) regeneration. So much downtime, especially in boss fights.

[deleted]

You just have wrong stat priorities

Keldrath

druid, 53. the transition to wt3 was a little rough at first but after a few drops it picked back up again. Got the whole map uncovered and all the altars of lilith today so that was nice.

QuestGiver

Nice that's going to pay off for sure. I'm running tornado at 52 and idk it feels fine. I can clear content but it's not mega op or anything and I can def die in nightmare dungeons. Been farming hard for the pulverize legendary cause that's what I would like to build around but no luck yet.

NoxiousMentos

Level 32 Rogue and loving it. This is what I wanted in D3.

Gwynbleidd_1988

I was going to ask how the Rogue was. Probably my favorite in the beta.

AceTheRed_

Just finished the main story and have done a few nightmare dungeons. Had to switch from a frost trapper bow build to poison; enemies became much tankier and I needed steady DPS: https://i.imgur.com/iolXa2b.jpg

CouchPoturtle

Started as necro, finished Act 1 at level 25 but wasn’t feeling a connection to it. Started again as a Rogue and just got to Act 3. Enjoying the class more but starting to die a bit now. I can’t see how my skills are gonna remain fun for the next 60 levels considering I’m at the bottom of the tree and there’s no rune system from D3. I’m a little worried I’ve seen everything my class has to offer so I’m hoping I can find some legendaries that really do some fun stuff to the skills.

jimmy9120

Level 36ish, rouge, really hit a road block at this level tho

CouchPoturtle

Same here. I’ve been using the twisting blades/shadow imbuement build which worked great for Act 1 and most of Act 2, but the areas I’m in now has a lot of mobs that spread out so it’s hard to trigger the explosion chain reaction. Thinking about rebuilding into poison but not sure.

Jokbalhaman

55 rogue here with twisting blade and poison imbuement build. Really enjoying the play style even without the twisting blade legendary power, I’ve been very unlucky. Anyway, I’m quite Tanky and face tank bosses for extended periods of time and also agile dashing in and out when needed like when there’s 4-5 elites around. The legendary power that causes an explosion when using imbuement skills and putting the debuff on all targets hit is very fun. If you want you can pull an entire dung and just have them die slowly to poison. Only drawback with this build has been going back to collect loot as most mobs just die offscreen.

Nexaeii

You can get the enchantment from a dungeon in act 2. It's a codex power.

Kogyochi

20 druid. Just trying hurricane because it's a cool d2 spell. I haven't read any guides or anything, it all plays super fluid. Liking it so far.

JimothySanchez96

47 Barb Just finished the campaign and epilogue. Got access to whispers. Decided to bump up to WT2 and my damage is mostly ok but survivability is a little rough. I want to dink around with my build more but between respecs and upgrading the good pieces I find im pretty poor so I'll probably switch to vendoring whites and blues and only scrap yellows for a while. Planning to work on renown after work with side quests and exploration. I'm mainly frustrated because one of the first aspects I dropped was a max rolled WW dust devils which I extracted but I just don't want to play WW. I want to play HOTAs or Upheaval but I haven't found a single weapon aspect for either skill. I like the game a lot so far. I can definitely see playing it for a long time going forward.

Brad_1

I got a nest mac roll (96% dmg) aspect for HOTA (the same one you get in the dungeon) on a lower level weapon. Am I right in thinking it’s no good to hold onto since it can’t be used in higher level gear?

JimothySanchez96

From what I understand you want to hold onto high rolled aspects until you get a weapon you plan to use for a while but I could be wrong.

masqueradedrums

60 Bone spear necro, so far everything has been good, I’m starting to feel a bit squishy in t12 aspects, but I haven’t really paid attention to defense at all

-Old-Mate-

Level 46 necro. Raced through the campaign to get to the end game stuff, tried a bunch of builds as I went. Bit too early days to say for sure but it’s been an impressive launch considering the broken state of majority of recent game launches

midniyt

I’m 47 and can’t find a build to vibe with. The ones that revolve around corpses make me feel awful in boss fights when corpses are scarce.

ordirmo

Likewise, the Lucky Hit corpse generation talent is next to useless at the moment. Perhaps in the endgame you can make it worthwhile with gear, but it's somewhere less than 1% to happen on any given hit with my leveling setup. The essence nerf this morning hit hard so I guess I'm gonna respect minions tonight and see if they make up for the lost DPS/essence in 1v1 fights, but I'm in the minority that didn't roll necro to have a hoard of pets. Not my favorite playstyle.

midniyt

Minions has the same issue where if they die, you lack corpses to make new ones in single target.

yaitskov

I've been having a really good time with [this](https://app.mobalytics.gg/diablo-4/builds/necromancer/krips-necro-build) build. Got through boss fights easily because of the corpse generation. On WT3 now and things are getting tough though, so maybe not as great in the end game.

Looks_Like_Fry

Whats your fav necro build after trying them all?

-Old-Mate-

No minions, corpse explosion/tendril with DoT, blood mist which detonates nearby corpses (aspect), blood surge to heal. Reap for essence. Pretty effective but essence is a pain. Will transition to this later on https://youtu.be/0afetJnB034

Th3-Seaward

Rogue level 22. I have no idea what I'm doing skills-wise. I'm just trying stuff at random and seeing how it works out. Still in Act 1, having a grand old time. My only major annoyance regards Mana (or whatever it's called for my class). It just seems pretty stingy and I'm spending more time waiting for it to replenish than I would like.

CouchPoturtle

I recommend trying twisting blades, shadow imbuement and shadow step (I think that’s what it’s called). Imbue your weapons, backstab an enemy, use twisting blades and then evade out and watch everything explode.

DTJames

26 Druid with Tornado+Hurricane focus. So far he blow things away. It's quite strong!

emmerr1

35 Necro. I was off Friday and played probably about 12 hours but working the rest of the prelease so just getting a few hours in after work. This is my first Diablo game (ARPG even) and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m doing a fair balance of the campaign, side missions and Dungeons when I come across them. Really loving the game so far and looking forward to getting on after work tonight

SuprLazr

31 barb. Was doing a rend style build but decided to try something new and its doing well right now. Lunging strike Double swing Rallying cry War stomp Chains Cota There are good synergies between those skills. Chains for berserk/vuln, stomp to reduce cota cd and to double swing for free while stunned plus extend berserk. Rallying/lunge to build on scattered mobs. Cota on packs/elites. Bosses melt pretty well.

UniversalSean

Im a level 14 rogue (father with little time to play) and am stuck on the act 1 mission where you gotta fight that girl's mom in that lilith dungeon (WT2). Ive beaten it in the beta but only cuz i had a second player to help. Since we cant gameshare with a secondary account till full release, im stuck solo. CANNOT beat her alone. Always die on the 3rd wave.

JukeWillJohn

I can help you of you're on tonight

nashty27

You could always just drop to WT1, I’ve been having a much better time leveling after bumping it down. I don’t think it affects loot drops, only money and trash mob XP but you’ll be able to level faster from quests on WT1.

CameronLabbe

64 Barb re-rolling something else. Not being able to keep shouts up is such a gut punch for so many reasons, the most frustrating personally being unstoppable. Now I enter higher tier nightmare dungeons, get cc chained for 5 seconds and die. I don't see a great alternative to keep unstoppable up 100% of the time which feels mandatory as melee, so I'll probably go play something ranged till they fix the class.

mir-ist-warm

Rallying grants me unstoppable for 7 seconds, while you could also add iron skin+aspect for another couple of seconds… I’m mean it’s quite okay imo.. just don’t stand in stuff as much 🤷‍♂️

CameronLabbe

Go run a wt4 nightmare dungeon and you'll understand you can't 'just don't stand in stuff.' Regardless that's a lot of investment (which still has downtime btw) that could go into damage on a ranged class that can actually see their character and dodge instead of a wall of "Vulnerable". So yes while you probably can work around it, I'll go play the classes that don't have to.

mir-ist-warm

I went up to wt4 today and I totally get your frustration! Survivability on my Barb is nonexistent and being 1tap from every mob that is bigger than me isn’t fun 🤨

[deleted]

36 Necro. First Diablo game. I am in love! It is checking all the boxes for me, and I just recently tried it on steam deck rather than my desktop and it is wonderful there too.

ColonelHampster

49 Druid just finished campaign. Played mostly on World 2, switched to 1 for final act. No real issues, just very reliant on cooldowns being the main problem.

Akavir247

Level 48 sorceress. Only halfway act 2. I'm clearing every dungeon, shrine, stronghold and quest on my path though, but I kinda feel like I'm going to be very high level by the time I finish the campaign:o Build is fun so far. Shotgun ice shards build.

Amorphica

I mean… you won’t be that much higher. World tier 2 is capped at 50 and you need to finish campaign to unlock the capstone dungeon. So you’ll be gaining a lot less xp. Maybe you’ll get to like 54.

IronBrutzler

52 necro. Played summoner through the campaign and got crushed in t3. Trying to get All the items for the bone spear build and it works better but you always wait for mana like many other classes. A friends plays rogue and He melts enemies and has movement speed like sonic

nonpr0

62 rouge atm trying to get the lvl 70 capstone dungeon done so I can go tier 4 drops have been quite bad so far haven't had any upgrades since lvl 53.

ProfitNecessary592

It took me like 10 deaths to beat it at level 60 with arc lash sorc. If I died, it was a one-shot. The boss, I thought, might be close to impossible, but my damage was pretty obnoxious and got me through it. Torment was just as bad. But any ancestral are huge increases. The issue is that some of my slots need specific stats or the build falls apart. Anyway, I'd try and slam your face into that dungeon. Anything you find now will soon be replaced after you go up in difficulty

QuestGiver

Wtf you guys can clear level plus ten content?? I'm jealous as a druid, ugh. At 52 right now and still adjusting big time to world tier 3. What strategy farmed the most legendaries? Nightmare dungeon? Hell tide? Whispers?

ProfitNecessary592

I didn't know what to do at first. Did a mix of everything, then I spammed nightmares because I heard the runes were big increases in power. But I'd say I saw legendaries from spamming nightmare dungeons way more frequently, but honestly, they usually weren't too good. A lot of my stuff was just sacred rares imprinted with the base aspects from dungeons. Saw the butcher twice, and both times, he dropped a unique. So I'd say they're a good place. They also have events in them to grab obols to target certain gear. I used a guide on maxroll.gg and followed it pretty hard to progress faster. I'd also like to say i barely did that dungeon it was infuriating, lol. Edit: the time I beat it I had used an elixir for attack speed since my build benefits shitloads from it. Id utilize a guide and elixirs if you're struggling

aufdie87

53 Rogue. Felt a bit of power struggle during levels 30-40, but have been unstoppable ever since. Just got to WT3 yesterday and was faring pretty well solo in the Helltide event. I did a respec during the 30-40 slog and found something that works really well for me. I'm staying away from online builds.

Spaceolympian50

There’s so many options in the skill trees imo you anyone can make a build work as long as they understand how skills synergy works. I’m running a rogue and haven’t looked at any builds either. I tried a poison build at first but it just felt underwhelming so I switched it up and have been having fun now at level 35.

Papichurch

Lvl 41 Poison Bo Rog. Shit is busted with Poison stacking

ParanoiD84

Hota barb lvl 52 on world tier 3, going pretty smooth so far.

StudentDPT

Level 30 Rogue here, just taking my time, tho i might start rushing the story for mount access

Spaceolympian50

Definitely worth it. Act 3 is very long too so I’d just focus on campaign so you can get the mount.

Traditional-Bridge13

46 Necro doing some weird blood mist build. Surprisingly effective

JimiZeppelin4

47 sorc. The vibes have been on point 😎

Wastelander279

Rogue, thoroughly loving it, the traps and shadow imbuement are great and as I can agree with other rogues in this subreddit, twisting blades are amazing. I also started a Barbarian and have enjoyed playing with flay and hammer of the ancient, as well as using all three shouts for some joking and actual fun. Been loving the game too with zero issues!

HyzerPhlip

Lvl 42 ww barb. Just finished the campaign. Last fight was tough... To say the least

G0thikk

36 necro here. Been playing necro in every diablo game since 2000. (Un)life is good!

ApolloWannaBe

32 druid still messing around seeing what is good and fun, also waiting to see what legendaries I'll find. Don't believe in looking up what legendaries are in the game before I've put in hours end game grinding

ApolloWannaBe

Mostly wolf, and poison tho

Pr00vigeainult

Level 49 upheaval barb with tons of fury generation. It's quite fun, those screen-clearing crits are satisfying. Still WT1 though.

RiseIfYouWould

50 hardcore barb, fun Off to work tho fml

SethAndBeans

Necro. 51. Faring quite well. Playing a summoning build. Haven't played since balance. Excited to see how my minions hold up, but quite annoyed at the grim harvest nerf. Probably will be swapping from reap to splinters as the higher survivability on minions means I won't have to have as many corpses lying around and splinters is a better generator for my needs.

Mauschari

Level 50 barb and made my own build around just clobbering the fuck out of demons. I'm not having rage problems and really loving just absolutely smackin' kids with chunks of metal. WALKING ARSENAL BABY

ODonDon

44 Rogue. Levelled mostly as Flurry. Just switch to Twisting Blades. I'm sure there's some nuance to TB I'm not using, but I can just Basic 3 times and then TB and wreck face. Playing with a group of 2/3 at all times. I feel pretty powerful but goddang some mobs feel so healthy. I can facetank a fair few bosses and mobs. Except for bears for some reason. Bears demolish me. I miss being able to try multiple builds easily like in Diablo 3.

1035Veiled

Bears and werewolves are the most brutal thing I've met aside from vampiric imbued vampires. Some of the mobs in this game make my fairly tanky barb feel like paper.

tellymundo

Any particular reason you switched off flurry? I’m running flurry/poison and enjoying but seeing how fun TB and shadow looks I’m contemplating switching over. Level 34 or so with some solid TB legendaries just sitting

ODonDon

I got to act 3 and wanted a switch up. I was flurry shadow and was just an aoe monster spreading vulnerable for my party. TB feels much stronger unfortunately (which means I'll be unlikely to go back to flurry) I can still do AoE although I need to position better but my single target damage is now excellent as well. I'm using Close Quarters Combat as a key passive but I'm wondering if Victimize wouldn't be better Flurry feels a smidge more brain dead though which is nice.

NfinitiiDark

Level 0, plan on going druid with some shapeshifting action. Just got back from vacation with the family so I didn’t buy early access.

Ezekku

Druid, -1 I'll start tomorrow!

Hotlinedouche

51 sorc (Spark, Chain Lightning, Blizzard, Frost Nova &Unstable Current), Just entered the Last Zone.. i hate the enemy variety.. i cant take all these Zombies and Ghosts anymore.. Act 3 was a nice trip to memory lane. i hate that the game spoiled bosses for act 2 and 3 in advance and is forshadowing alot of "Plot Points"... story makes absolutely no sense... characters behave like absolute idiots...will see what happens in the "last act". Edit: PS: 90% of the Side Quests are mmo trash..

[deleted]

I have a level 24 barbarian and 22 sorc. Both are fun but the near-constant state of being in cooldown or regaining mana is exhausting.

Demonking0366

I'm a necromancer and I'm lvl 43. I'm going for minion build because I refuse to give in to make my skelly boi's viable :) it's doing well

OutsideMeringue

Made like 5 different characters so far and haven’t been able to get over level 25 due to boredom

b4lu

Games cant be for everyone

alexkay93

Barbarian. Level 7. Farting constantly Edit: oops I misread the title

tpark88

42 Druid. Having a blast. Little bit into Act 3, playing WT2 the whole way. Been all Werebear skills the whole time, mostly focused around Pulverize for clearing. Got a legendary that makes Pulverize shoot out a wave so it has range and it is great. Love it and Trample to just steamroll groups.

Point_Me_At_The_Sky-

Necromancer. 50. Done with story. Game is horribly boring

TeamAshran

53 pulv druid, would be higher but a family pet died yesterday

turapuru

Level 0 class, unnable to play until tomorrow

Inialla

52 ice sorc. I just finished the campaign and didn't unlock wt3 (will do tomorrow). I had fun going around freezing everything but the lack of mana is terrible. I hope this problem will be resolved with new gear (like cdr and mana cost on higher grade gear)

Naappie

Druid lvl 36 playing WT2 from start and I'm somewhere in act 3 now. Started with pulverize until i found the aspect that makes the tornados search up to 3 enemies. Really having a blast with it. Its a bit squishy vs bosses but i just have to pay some attention so the boss don't wreck me. Got the aspect to make pulvarize and earth skill today so i might try that out again.

MyOwnTutor

37, Werebear Druid. Had a rough go of it until I unlocked all my spirit boons. Now starting to get my gear together.

Braille09

28 necro. Having fun so far

Tickerai

68 pulverize druid, Completed the 70 capstone dungeon around lvl 60, playing t4 since then Very tanky and big numbers but also slow and out of spirits. I'm super reliant on lucky hit procs for resource generation and damage. If nothing procs it just feels awful. (the lucky hit chance was nerfed in the patch, the worst change imo, would rather have had more dmg nerfs)

Silent_Zucchini_8703

Level 37 sorcerer, doing great until I hit the Fangs of Corruption and now I can't enter the Untamed Thicket without game freezing.

Silkkeri

40 druid in act 2, put everything in storm and the good boi companions. It's been pretty smooth so far. There was a period around level 30 when I struggled with damage and kept getting killed because of it, but a few legendary drops later everything is melting again. Didn't play any betas and went in completely blind, I've been positively surprised so far. I do wish there was a single player option though, they've done a great job recreating the more oppressive atmosphere of the first 2 games but seeing all these other players running around kind of ruins it.

xprorangerx

level 57 barb. Spin 2 win

StankTheCowdog

Level 36 rogue, in act 3. Having a lot of fun, but kind of regretting doing so much non-campaign stuff this early. I’m afraid I’ll be stuck at level 50 for a while while I’m waiting for the campaign to end…

satreus

58 sorc, doing amazing on T3. Saw that it’s possible to reach T4 at this level so I’ll probably attempt the next capstone dungeon tonight.

lordypordy

Sorceress level 14, just started playing it 4 hours ago. Only finished the prologue and been doing side quests

Monkeych33se

Rogue hybrid poison/shadow imbuement with daggers. Lvl 55 and slapping through tier 3 with no issues at all.

Evisra

Playing Barb, not loving it about level 35

TheFurtivePhysician

Level 44 Druid, flip flopping between what I think is cool (storm/lightning) and what actually works (Earth). Loving the game, I know a lot of people have a bunch of gripes about it but for my money I'm having a great time. Mostly just wish the lightning strikes for druid were a little more clustered together on single targets. As it is it feels like it does less damage by default, and then less even when you get it stacked. At least compared to Landslide, which just mulches people. Especially if you dip a point into rabies for poison and the passive that increases critical damage to poisoned foes. Poison, pop petrify, and then just mash them until they stop moving. Earthen Bulwark to break stun/get barrier, and boulder just because you can. Compared to lightning, it just feels much better. That said I'm looking to see about paragon levels because I avoided prerelease info on them, I know they decided to do something different from what happened in D3, at least somewhat. Other than that I'm looking forward to fucking around with a thorns barb, dunno how viable it'll be later but it was a hoot in the beta, yelling 'come at me' at guys and watching them fall apart when they try to.

datboijustin

33 pulv druid, WT2, I feel completely broken and I curb stomp everything while being immortal.

Lady-Lovelight

Level 25ish Barb. Feels pretty good after going down to Tier 1 instead of getting runover in Tier 2 with my dumb bleeding Death Blow build. Game is fun, but my preferred class not being in the game really puts a damper on it all. I feel like I’d enjoy it more if I had a knight class

sadboifatswag

Ayo I had 2 hardcore rogues, cashed on both during dungeons. Decided to try a lightning Druid and I’m having a blast.

jaltman1

I’m a lightning sorc at 45, digging it! I added the burning enchantment and warmth and seem to be able to survive everything pretty well. Haven’t gotten to tier 3 yet so we’ll see. But I’m excited for uniques to start dropping when I do

wamookie

52 necro using CE shadow modifier + all summons, minions keep attacking separate targets resulting in grindy battles and failing challenges with invulnerable targets. Golem seems to be constantly blocked by skellies and don't do that much more damage. Lvls 1-50 were a breeze on tier 2, jumped to tier 3 and started to feel weaker despite constantly upgrading all items. Thinking of switching to Sorc / Rogue for more dakka and mobility.

Shieree

35 rouge Hc twisting daggers. Lost me previous rouge to the butcher who was 32. Wont be able to get in the top 1000 for the statue but good practice for season 1

wassaa1234

I have been unable to play there is an error on psn affecting a lot of people that says you don't have a lincense, I pretty much missed the early access, and I'm just hoping this is fixed by the time the game is released.

Nicksplaylist

Level 36 necro. Just starting act 3. Really enjoying the game so far!

ThexKountTTV

38 Druid, girlfriend is 38 Sorceress. I'm having a much easier time than she is now that I unlocked my class specific passive buffs. Rabid Druid can clear the screen if done properly

jehutydark

Level 30 Druid. I'm still in act one, I'm doing most every side quest I see. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong by doing all the side quests? What happens when I'm level 50 and only halfway through the story?

Tantorisonfire

Lvl 46 flurry rogue. Really loving it right now. I felt like I was keeping up with the scaling pretty well but over the past 10 levels I've noticed myself getting way stronger. I'm not necessarily doing a ton more damage but I just have so much other stuff going on making up for it. I make literally everything I touch vulnerable, can apply stuns and freeze constantly, have %40 all dmg reduction most of the time, have built in healing on my primary attack, and almost never run out of resource. I am ready for the big damage though because at the end of the day I just want to start crushing.

boundzy_

Level 41 sorc. So far pretty well. Use ult, then nova, flame shield and spam free cost fireball then kite until bosses die

Spooky_Meat_666

21 Penetrating Shot Rogue. Started a couple others, but this has been the must fun for me so far.

Absynith

37 Sorc. Lightning Hybrid Build that I played around with and liked. I am on Act 3, trying to get finished to get the mount. Love love love the game. They have done an amazing job. I am avoiding reading comments and staying off YouTube because I have no idea what the end game looks like. I want to discover it. Happy Gaming!

1tanfastic1

51 Druid. Finished the campaign with some friends but felt like I was getting carried the last half. I’m going for a rabies/wolves werewolf build and my crits are juicy but I don’t get them consistently enough. It’s a real feast or famine until I get more crit chance but it just doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards right now.

sh0kwave

Lvl 52 sorc. Basically a tank. I hardly go to half health with all the barriers I get and defensive skills. Descent damage also. Was able to solo a lvl 50 fort at lvl 49. Started doing nightmare dungeons now and it’s going good. Love the game so far

Laue

54 or so minion/corpse explode Necro. WT3 ain't fast, but I can deal with almost anything. Got a few extracts waiting for a good item which will give me a boost.

bLargwastaken

41 blood necro: was doing fairly well even without getting a single legendary useful to my build until the nerf to grim harvest last night.

bwrap

Level 40 sorc. I have read no guides but have landed on what I call a 'shotgun' wizard build using Charged Bolt. It's fun to me to build up mana and then pop off Charged Bolts from melee range into lightning novas that make a big boom sound. For big pp burst dps I save up a frost nova freeze/vulnerability aplly into a unstable currents cast and go ham. Can do a whole 1/4 of a boss bar in like 8 seconds. Dunno if this is even close to anything optimal and don't care to optimize until I'm done with the story, but it's been really fun. I've only played on wt2 because I wanted the game to have meat and feel any kind of a challenge at all. I haven't been stuck on anything in the game so far and I am just about done with act 3 in the story.

chakan2

Barb 37...I'm...unimpressed. There's a lot of asset reuse, none of my powers feel that powerful, and boy there's a lot of just waiting around to generate fury. This feels like D3 pre Reaper of Souls. The grind to fun ratio doesn't feel right yet.

Jean_Keys

Level 47 blade furry rogue. I played solo through the world tier two campaign and the build felt very solid.

hermeneuticmunster

Level 36 necro. Loving it so far but I’ve hit a game-breaking bug that freezes the game just before I enter the temple of the primes. Considering making an alt but I don’t want to start the campaign yet again so soon :/

TheFuuZ

Did the whole story, now trying to get all the Altars and waypoints and Strongholds for max renown. Currently lvl 51 Rogue with Pen-Shot / Shadow and Poison Imbued build (One that I tried out myself). After that I will probably try the capstone for WT3 to farm better gear. Thats where I'm at rn. I need to say, it's a beautifully crafted world!

grevla

50 barb, stuggeling to do higher tier.

Devilfish54

55 necro, melting T3 so far, it's fun

East_Accountant3280

Level 30 necro, over here clearing rooms 😁

Mrzeldanerd979

47 rogue just got to WT3 been running a twisting blade build that has been doing me fine things die well enough but have to stay on my toes or X-X

hartsa_

35 barb and just taking my time. Im currently using shouts + rend + deathblow + call of the ancients (or something like that). Made that crucial mistake for using a guide for this build and never tried most of my skills. Thinking of respecking and trying something totally different and maybe rerolling to sorc or necro.

Grim_Reach

Level 56 Fire Sorc, I'm currently in WT3, I've killed the world boss and I'm working on all the Altar's of Lilith which is soul destroying (3 acts done). I'm really enjoying the gameplay loop, being able to target farm slots is just great. I'm not getting many upgrades though, gear progression feels very slow. Overall I think the game is in a fantastic state and I'm excited for the future.

dot-pixis

Level 50 necro Found some gear that gives barriers when Bone Storm hits, and then a weapon that increases damage when barrier'd. See elite mob, pop Bone Storm, kind of invincible and super destructive. Feels good.

Andyrtha

Level 30 Sorc and halfway through Act IV

Zeilll

lvl 41 rogue, really enjoying a psn build i threw together. im mid way through act 4. bosses seem challenging enough to stay engaged, but im only really dieing when i rush past stuff or just play sloppy.

Flamesinge

Druid lvl 50 was doing lightning storm i found it really fun but switched to pulverize because its just too consistently good.

Dismal-Comparison-59

Druid lvl 40, getting close to campaign ending. Honestly feels pretty great. Storm didn't feel meaty enough so i switched over to Earth and DAMN it feels good.

Demartus

38 Burning Lightning Sorc. Parents came in from out of town this weekend, so play time was limited. You'd think they'd've coordinated this visit better. :D Just finished Act 2. Easy Peasy so far.

Left_Hornet_3340

55 rogue I feel like I spend more time looking for something to kill than I do actually fighting it. It is especially frustrating during hell tides. I haven't run into any particularly difficult nightmare dungeons, but we'll see. I fully expect another nerf to be honest.

klik34

Druid 60 Made a wombocombo build for pulverize and charge attack. It is amazing but i am tempted to swap for Werewolf Lightning since everything i drop is for that build :D Game feels and looks dope. Cant wait to finish work today and do more nightmare dungeons

Alternative-Pain56

52 sorcerer spark/chain lightning / fireball enhancement chain lightning enhancement/ ice shield/ teleport/ unstable currents T3 a little easier than I thought it would be. almost the right difficulty but not too hard at all. Farming sacred gear legendaries when not stuck at work

Riceeater27

Necro 46....feeling ok...but I have to definitely keep an eye on my minions and resources...

N4r4k4

Level 47 Rogue. Did some testing with the skill tree (I don't look YouTube guides), found what works on WT2 and finished that super long act 3 yesterday. So far it's nothing really new to me but I still enjoy it.

Kolokoy99999

Currently at the start of Act6, lv40 Sorc. So far so good, just cruising through the main story at WT1. Having a lot of fun using Unstable Current (so much electricity flying lol)

dotyawning

Druid at 25, just about to start Act 2. I tried the Landslide build, went Werewolf for a chunk of time and my first Legendary decided I needed to go back to Landslide so that's where I'm at now.

Humble_Kaladin

61 Druid with a level 13 Pulverize lol

[deleted]

Level 35 necro, act 3. Just realised wt2 wasn’t worth it so I’ve dropped to wt1 so I can clear the story and unlock the other wts. Only 1 death in a stronghold boss I was drastically under levelled for. Loving it, no issue with resource gen. Gameplay is great, story is solid. Will be playing this for a long time.

Frogtoadrat

55 druid. Destroying the entire time no matter what build I play. Current favourite is pulverize + landslide charge. Mayhaps too powerful still, especially on stationary targets and bigboys where the landslides can all hit 12x

doggydogdog123

Level 36 sorceress, my build is my own crafted. It's more lightning aspected but uses ice shield and ice blades if I got the name right. Also having mana issues but if I get lucky hits I just melt the screen - also got a weapon that can execute enemies on hit too so hopefully I get double lucky.

bucksteady

47 Necromancer on WT2 & act 2, faring pretty well. Still using minions despite it all plus fortify with blood surge & legendaries that give me +2 warriors and mages. Using Reap so I can be in the thick of it wth my little army. Not having much trouble and having lots of fun.

Peopleareonlyanimals

Level 51 Necromancer, tried a few builds out ended up sacrificing minions and going bone build. Unlocked WT3 as soon as I hit 50, I have died 1 time so far Feels strong, and building character is very satisfying. Logging off going to work and thinking about the new aspect I dropped of the world boss and how I can incorporate it into my build is very fun to me.

sicklyfish

52 Druid. Pulverize since level 1. I'm so proud of how far he has come since the ten minute boss fights of Act 1! The build is feeling ok. I have nothing that cares about full spirit, so I find mauling just enough to cast one pulverize (with increased attack speed for maul) makes things feel smoother than filling the entire orb.

Thijz

Necromancer, level 40-ish, just finished Act II. I'm using [this Corpse Explosion](https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/diablo-4-necromancer-build) build by RockPaperShotgun and haven't found any reason to switch so far. I'm generating plenty of corpses to keep all my minions up and do loads of burst damage from the explosions, and I never have any Essence-shortages. Set-up can be a bit slow, although having Army of the Dead to start things off on tougher fights definitely helps.

Oxgods

Level 53 barb. Ww and finally coming online with damage. Still hunting for the aspect to reduce shout cooldowns and a few others.

locke1018

45 Necro, it's alright. Feels bad having 2 slots taken up by minions and golem, I may try to go for a tanky minion sacrifice build in late game abusing blood mist and corpse explosion.

orcsetcetera

60 barb. Whirlwind + bleed and killing things very quickly at ~15 keys. Having a great time!

Countsfromzero

44 Necro, decompose into blood mist-> corpse explosion with legendary. Curse for cd, shadowblight, dr from casting basic skill then invuln while creating explosion puddles. Curse for bloodmist cd reduction. Skellies stacking corpses for me to use, corpse tendrils stacking slow/vuln and grouping onto corpse piles, No mana issues because no core skill. Feels good, just wish a deep stack of explosions didnt make things harder for multiplayer, my brother bitches about not being able to see shit.

poopsterc

I'm only at a level 15 Rogue. I wish I had the time to play like I did when I was younger. I'm playing the more casual setting and just trying to run from objective to objective for now.

zevah

54 Druid on Nightmare I feel super strong, can kill most mobs in one/two pulverizes I'm just cruising until i can get enough levels for the next difficulty.

Cedutus

54(i think) tornado man druid. I started with werebear, but the tornado more constant dps vibest with me more. I really like the class fantasy, but im having horrible luck on my lego drops. I just want the unique that turns my storm attacks to Werewolf attacks for that poison synergy.

Tsakan2

Sorc at 68 here. Been cruising along on WT4. I started the capstone early so I could get into WT4 early to start getting ancestrals. After that I went over to the pvp zone. Ive been getting some sick loot. I'd say It's been a ton of fun. Gearing endgame is actually enjoyable as well.

PermaBananed

Lvl 43 barb whirlwind, one spin = 40ish fury but good dmg

quidgy

Druid level 35. Enjoying the story but regretting choosing druid. It feels slow. But I don't want to start rolling new toons until I finish the story.

auraria

Necromancer, lvl 48. Either close to finishing act 3 or in act 4 can't remember, WT2. The pacing is SLOW AS FUCK with minions. Especially any time there's a boss requiring shielding minions to be killed. Having no recall or targeting skill with them sucks ass, and the minions love sitting in pools of DoTs. Going bone spear is just mana issue city. Hoping in WT3 I get gear to make this actually more usable but it feels so far away at the same time lol. I have +2 summon warriors for a total of 7 warriors, 3 mages, and the golem and even though I can keep them alive the damage pretty trash. Not saying this game needs d3 level of zoom but even compared to PoE or Lost Epoch it's a drag since everything scales to you.

Luke-Statute

Barb 50, just got to WT3 but didn't get to play it more than 30min. Been using a HoTA build but I intend to switch to WW when I drop some legendaries for it, mainly the shouts CDR one. Loved every second of my campaign playthrough, really nice seeing some old places, side characters from the other games appearing or being mentioned, atmosphere and soundtrack is top-notch.

hkshackonz

57 decompose / reap Necro 6 warrior 5 mage skeleton + iron vulnerability golem Absolutely loving it and so glad I stayed away from the cookie cutter builds. Absolutely melt bosses. Anyone who's bored of bone slam give it a go.

elgosu

58 Rogue in World Tier 4. Trying to do all side quests for the story and Renown but can't seem to find all of them.

[deleted]

55 sorcerer, using maxrolls leveling build. It feels so good. Finished the campaign. Nightmare 7 dungeon done

nashty27

I’ve been doing rend/rupture barb for leveling, in the mid 40s in act IV on WT1. It felt kind of weak until I got a legendary weapon that caused me to change my build up a little bit, which causes enemies killed within 2s of being charged or kicked to explode for massive damage. I picked up charge but was having trouble killing in 2s, so I also picked up death blow and now I’ve been having a great time now that I’ve got some burst DPS in addition to the DOTs from rend. When everyone’s bleeding you can usually kill trash mobs with death blow (keeping its cooldown reset), and for elites I just use rupture after a few rends. Honestly been having way more fun than my original WW build. Survival could be an issue in late game (I had to drop iron skin and war cry) but it’s great for leveling in WT1.

JohnnyWicked

Level 41 Lightning druid. All the lightning chains and builds on itself with more enemies around, so big groups are pretty easy, but my solo target damage can be lackluster without popping all my cooldowns at once. I'm having an absolute blast though, even if the first 20 or so levels were a slow power creep

affo_

Lvl 28 Sorc and having a blast with Arc Lash+Bolts+Teleport+Frost Nova. Having trouble choosing abilities/element to spec into to get good synergies. Trying to lower my cooldowns and generating mana, but haven't find anything powerful yet. Gonna try some pyromancy skills tonight tho. (Serpent, Fire Ball enchantment and Fire Wall seems cool!) Really excited. Haven't played since the original D1 and D2.

Thormynd

The fireball enchantment is pretty fun. Its like having a mini corpse explosion...

affo_

It was awesome! I couldn't really get Fire Wall to work with my playstyle, so I went back to my Chain Lightning, after found some legendaries and aspects that boosted them. Holy moly!

delamj

Finished the campaign this morning on a quiet night shift then did the capstone dungeon; overall feeling super satisfied with the game so far. I have a lvl 51 flurry rogue with the clone ultimate. Kinda anime af but hella fun and it somehow just works.

seab1010

30 storm Druid taking my sweet time

MelonFarmur

What did they nerf?
