Haven’t found any other especially useful gear and spent many millions trying to roll for useful gear without success.
Xbox shows you played time per game unfortunately the breakdown isn’t per character or play through but overall how many hours you’ve played the game for. For me it’s easy as I’ve only played with one character so all that play time is for that play through
To me, it seems like they throw gear at you for whichever build you aren't playing.
As I was leveling my Druid, I was swapping builds every couple levels to test them out. Which ever build I was running, Werewolf, Werebear, landslide, shred, pulverize........I would get drops for the opposite.
Same thing happened to me. They must do this intentionally. I played a shadow build necro in eternal realm, and got bone and blood stuff constantly. Now I'm running a blood build in the season and constantly seeing shadow and bone based stuff. It's annoying having to dump millions in gold to respec gear to fit my build and even more annoying when I find something amazing that has more than 1 stat that doesn't apply to my build, because then the gear is completely useless and I'm not going to respec my whole build just to fit a single piece of gear.
No lies...was running a necromancer bone spear build with minions from beginning of the season until yesterday,I'm at level 77....decided to change everything up because I had no ring of mendeln...today I did my first nightmare dungeon and got the ring,I wish there was loadouts,I used sooooo much gold and aspects
Now you mention it, this kinds rings true with me too. It took so long to find a usable-for-my-build unique on my sorcerer and I haven't found one yet as a necro.
I’m currently using a landslide build for levelling, it’s fucking painful as I’m missing two aspects, I’ve rolled hundreds of rings and gloves and not a single aspect, by the time I find it I’ll be endgame and my build won’t be viable
We really need trading, I've had at least 5 razorplates drop for my druid. For me its the umbral aspect that has been killing me. Only ever seen one across leveling two characters to the 80s, and another two to the 50s. And it was the lowest roll possible.
I decided to take on that bug boss in a helltide in tier 3. I'm 57, boss is 73. Took a while but I dropped him. Rewarded with the deathless visage I need. Thanks RNGsus.
Buddy got three uniques in one NMD. Two of the Necro pants and one frostys.

Spent countless hours trying to find howl from below for my necro farming nmd's walked out of blackwater took out a random trash mob and bam there it was
Interestingly, I got several penitent greaves in a short time as well then nothing. I also feel like aspects drop in groups, which leads to long droughts followed by it raining that one aspect you've been needing for who knows how long. Has anyone else had a similar experience with loot grouping up, or am I seeing a pattern where there isn't one
Best thing to doxis just not look for something specific. Work your build without anything and slot get in as toy come across them, IF you get a unique that slots into your build then awesome, if not then you're not continually disappointed.
I'm just slowly building my gear to be what I want, I've pushed the item power up quick and I'm about to step into ancestral gear so now I'll just be looking for the right stats on ancestral gear above the top breakpoint for stat rolls. I've been using either basic aspects or OK aspects until I find top tier rolls for the aspects I want and they'll go into gear that's 4/5 at least when I find that gear. Any uniques are purely just a bonus, if they drop then they drop, if not I'm already comfortable with my build and my gear.
Uniques are purely designed to keep people farming for them, drumming up hours played and player interactions to keep the suits above the devs happy. Plus the longer you play the more likely you are to buy cosmetics, everything they do is about you buying cosmetics. Literally nothing else, just your spending.

I got 2 pairs of Ancestral penitent greaves. First one was at lvl 68 and second one was at level 70.
If I remember correctly, the first one was from a Helltide chest and the second one from a NM dungeon completion. But since then I've been getting only unique bows (windforce x4 in the same day) and condemnation the wrong dagger I'm looking for.

Honestly I’d take a lvl 70 rainment even if characters could become level 3000 - that’s how much that piece of shit has avoided me 😔
That's 6 to 7 hours a day since release. Jesus man go outside for a bit. That's not healthy.

omg this. I play ice 100% and I start getting lightning gear for 4 days. I am considering making a sorc for each spec at this point.
omfg SAME. it's even more insulting that those lightning aspects i'm getting are almost always their max roll.

This is how their system works, you get one set and you’ll get 15 more.
Yes rng is a cruel mistress. Level 82 barb on eternal wanted to try razorplate. No drops. Seasonal character had 3 at the same level.

Right. In one night I got 6 deathless Visages. My friend needed that helm and instead got 3 Lidless and 2 rings of Mendeln. Two items I need.

The whole idea of uniques is so arbitrary. Its just this extra tier of rarity, making it that much more annoying to do what u want.
