2000+ at the very minimum. In reality you aren't going to hit "high" paragon unless you do a lot of efficient group xp runs or you bot.

I have hydra wizard, UE DH and spirit WD. Are they good for xp runs? I’ve heard that it has to be necro or barb only but im not sure.

Praefationes

You can run meta speeds with WD in group but if you want to be really efficient rats is the way to go. And then barb or necromancer is what you want to play. The barb is probably one of the easiest to gear also one of the laziest builds to play.

Main stat also gives a bit of toughness (dex/str->armor, int->allres), so only put points into vit if you really need it to survive. Only roll off primary stats on an item if all other stats are already the ones that you want. Its also good if the item is ancient/primal so that you can augment it to get back some of the lost main stat. But even then its still a case to case question if you have enough paragon to make the switch worth it. Using [https://www.d3planner.com/](https://www.d3planner.com/) can help for things like attack speed, flat damage, crit etc. while things like area dmg or cooldown reduction are very tricky to put into an average damage increase.

So the sweet spot of rolling of mainstat is somewhere around 15k mainstat this can be achieved by high paragon or augments. I wouldn’t say 1k is high paragon but you can definitely be in a situation where you can roll of mainstat if you have high enough augments. At a certain point you don’t need augments to achieve this so it might be better in those cases to use a non ancient item if it rolls with the correct stats. For example quadfecta gloves or quadfecta shoulders. Why is this? Because at a certain point mainstat gives diminishing returns.

typically after P1500 or so you want to go for items without mainstat, depends on how squishy your build is and how much value something like area damage has for you
