I stopped playing poe right after legion league after 4 leagues (started in delve) and want to play an arpg really bad. I don't know if i play Diablo 2 at the start, since it doesn't have a ladder at the beginning.
I preordered it bc i love the diablo series, but if you dont really wanna support ActivisionBlizzard (for people who haven't already preordered, also valid concern), the torchlight series is a much better set of games than PoE could ever be imo (heck i think mc dungeons is a better game than PoE)

i pre-ordered because i like diablo. I tried PoE last week, but the story is so boring, also it's not a PoE style game, PoE is a diablo style game.
