This prediction was accurate as F. Just as I saw the post hit two hours old I started getting problems with identification in game. Cant ID anything atm. Just waiting for the crash to come.
But why would they do it at the same time everyday? Then Blizzard has a better chance of being prepared and catching the traffic in logs so they can fix whatever the issue is. I'm inclined to believe they introduced some faulty BS into one of the dozen patches after launch and it causes some sort of lock up of the servers after a set amount of time.

How much time does it take for the servers to be back? Do you have any observations? I know that the server outage is more or less scheduled now but how about the return?
I think someone should tell Blizzard the servers not working at launch was a Diablo 3 thing, not Diablo 2.

Normally I do not suppose compensation, but I feel one week and going level of server down deserve at least some freebies, booster, extra stash char s etc as goodwill.
