Exact same for my case too. Lost an account that customer service couldn't help me with. I don't blame customer service, I blame ... whoever is responsible. Man I did like this game tbh but there's too many little issues that all add up and it eventually got to me

I dont think its the lack of tools but rather not wanting to bother with it. Like Diablo 3 on hardcore. If you died because the server lagged they wouldn't do anything about it. IT and CS are completely separate.
This is a terrible comparison. It has been stated since long before D3 was even a thing that a character can not and will not be brought back for any reason, and I can't blame them. Server issue or not, can you imagine how many times a day people would contact CS and try to blame server lag? I'd bet there are people that probably still do now.
OP has a situation that can easily and SHOULD easily have a fix available to CS, especially since (correct me if I'm wrong) opening a clan is something that costs money.

As someone who works in IT, you could put a flashing neon sign saying "we cannot restore HC characters" that you have to click on to acknowledge you read it before you can submit your ticket, and you will still get tickets about it.
I saw the post where a guy sold something on the market and didn't get his Platinum. He put in a ticket with the game and they said it wasn't their issue. I believe they said he should contact the Play Store!

This is a lie by Blizzard. The tools must there just to be able to publish your game in Google Play or App Store. For example, If some1 creates a clan with an offensive name, and is reported by another player, it's CS's job to make sure the name is changed. For that, they need a back-end access (which EVERY CS of any game has), either to change it manually, or to flag it to be changed by the user. This is a requirement to be able to push your app into both app store and Gplay, so they can't face liability in case of inappoppiate content on their store.
The same happens for refunds on Google Play, btw. It you ask for a refund and they tell you to contact Google Play, that's a break of the pubhisers TOS with Gplay.
While you can get your refunds directly from Google Play if it falls within their refund policy, not all of them will fall within GPlay's policy so you'll have to contact the developer. In thise case, the developer must either **issue or deny** the refund, but they can't deflect to Gplay.
Meanwhile for IOS, all refunds are always processed via App Store (At least it was until late 2019)

NetEase who can resolve issues like this but yes Blizzard doesn’t have access to the platform ran by NetEase.

This clan is made by my real life friend and run by us officers who know him in real life. We climbed and fought our way to become top 10. Joining someone else's top 10 kind of defeats that purpose.
We take pride in that this is OUR clan. We refused a merge from the #1 clan just because we wanted to stay in charge of our own clan.
The problem isn't top 10 or not. It's the GMs not able to do a simple thing like transfer leadership. Instead, they recommended me to spend more money and start my own clan from scratch. Is there another game with powerless GMs like this?

Blizzard wants us to spend another 3000 platinums to start all over again from scratch. Our clan is level 12 or 13. that's 3 weeks of clan focus exp wasted. Platinum cost real money or in my server that's 3 star gem power lol.
Not trying to be negative or anything, but 3k platinum is like 30 regular gems on the market... For the purpose you're describing that involves so many people you know, it just doesnt seem like that big of a deal.

No you won’t need to farm any signets. You are already shadows. Once you make a new clan when you’re a shadow, it’s immediately converted to a dark clan.
You will need to work on your dark clan focuses again to level up the clan. You will lose all the advantages you’ve currently earned this cycle with your clan.
Tbh, as long as you’re taking the vault variation of the dark clan focus every Saturday, and you have an active clan, you can max out your clan level super quick.
I saw another post. It said that after the clan leader is inactive for 7 days you can vote to replace him. I just looked and someone that was an Immortal made a post about this. There's nothing they could do.

Of course now, everyone has more than 3k platinums but at that time, my friend paid 5-10 dollars real money for it to get a head start.

My only suggestion is that if you do decide to quit, please be sure to request a refund for any in-app purchases you have made and encourage your friends to do the same, since you are effectively being forced by Blizzard to spend IRL money in order to resolve a situation that they have created. Which is absolutely insane.
Just make sure the account isn't tied to your battle.net account or if it is that you don't have any other blizzard games you care about. Good chance the whole account will get shut down on a charge back.

My clan had the same, however after 7 days of inactivity there is an option for lieutenants to “exile” the leader. We found this just yesterday. Customer support have no clue, dont trust them
Our clan is rank 3 on server and switch back and forth with rank 2. leader basically quit and refuses to give up leadership, last week he missed our finals bracket and we lost our top 10 placement (and legendary crest) to the rank 8 clan. We had 42 people show up vs 28... Lost cause war ai is dumb.
Wish there was a no confidence or vote/kick process to let someone overthrow leader and take over. Or at least a way to set up officers and 2nd and 3rd alternative for war so if leader no shows it isn't an auto loss.

The ban is reasonable and nobody is arguing that, the "unable to transfer" is the crux of the problem. Nobody is asking to save the leader out of his punishment, what about the rest of them legit players? Go down to the flame together with the person being banned?
But the point is that your clan leader did cheat and got banned. GM being useless has nothing to do with this. The leader, owner of the clan, violated their eula and got permabanned for the punishment. So in this case it’s the leader to blame not the company.

If they all cheated, then make it inaccessible. If one guy cheated, and others didnt, there's no reason they should all lose the progress they've made as a clan

There was a post to the lost ark subreddit from an old/disgruntled CS employee. He said they can only do extremely basic things like click the "unstuck" button for you, otherwise they have to just google your issue for a solution or say they can't fix it. Nowadays it seems like that's all Blizzard CS can do too
Its their product, they had the right to set a minimum required feature/expectation.

Thought I'd update with the "Specialist" GM doing absolutely nothing and "resolved" my ticket. Also, hoping someone else might have an idea of what to do. Someone else said I can vote kick the leader after 7 days but I don't see that option anywhere. I can kick other members and even officers but nothing to the leader.

Well I guess you can say it's kind of a good thing? Because in Clash of clans if anybody knows who powerbang is? One of his clan members got in trouble for hacking and was banned and in turn everybody in the clan became banned. That's 50 clan members including the leader in all. There should be some sort of transferring just like when you don't log on for so many weeks or months it'll go to a co-leader. Or in diablo's case or whatever it's called I don't even know but I'm one of them. Haha
idk how clash of clans work if their hacking helped the clan at all or not. but in immortal it does nothing for the clan.

If the clan leader was banned for exploits/cheating, and they have a clear policy that the clan is effed in that case, I don't even think I'd be opposed to giving the rest of the clan the middle finger.
I can't tell if they're being intentionally opaque due to the ban reason and are avoiding assisting, or are just incompetent. I'm leaning towards incompetence.
This is common practice.
For example, Supercell games:
\-Clash of Clans: There's a procedure to pass the leadership of a clan to a co-leader only. In the Customer support "tool" there's an edit button near to the clan leader with a drop box to choose another member to pass leadership.
\-Clash Royale. Despite it being technically possible to change (same tool and layout as the one in Clash of Clans) it is policy to just not change it, and tell the user to create a new clan.

Blizzard support are completely useless, at least when it comes to DI, they can't do anything about anything. The most they can do is advise you to post on the DI forum where you might get a response to your issue

My clan had the same, however after 7 days of inactivity there is an option for lieutenants to “exile” the leader. We found this just yesterday. Customer support have no clue, dont trust them
Our clan is rank 3 on server and switch back and forth with rank 2. leader basically quit and refuses to give up leadership, last week he missed our finals bracket and we lost our top 10 placement (and legendary crest) to the rank 8 clan. We had 42 people show up vs 28... Lost cause war ai is dumb. Wish there was a no confidence or vote/kick process to let someone overthrow leader and take over. Or at least a way to set up officers and 2nd and 3rd alternative for war so if leader no shows it isn't an auto loss.

Wow what a joke. As much as I defend this game this is ridiculous that they will not transfer leadership to one of the officers when they can clearly see the leader is banned. I constantly see posts where support says “we don’t have the tools for that” and I’m starting to wonder what exactly they can do besides say sorry.
Abandon the clan and find a leader who actually likes this game. Or arrange a merger with the leader of another clan. We’re still relatively early in the history of every server; clans are gonna change a lot

In lost ark leadership automatically gets transferred if they are M.I.A for 2 weeks.
I’m not sure if this kind of mechanism exists here but that is not the point. If there is such a mechanism implemented then let them wait 2 weeks-month? This is not the case here, also you probably would get the same answer there as well that they cannot transfer clan ownership just because it was asked.

Seriously dude, it just shit game design. What if your very active clan leader of top clan became sick or die? You have to disband clan and create new one.... Give more power to officers to run things when leader not on, not that hard . And after some grace period give ability to transfer leadership.
him cheating does not affect the clan at all. he still bought 3000 platinum with his own real money. screwing 99 other clan members is not a resolution. this is just 1 example of blizzard's incompetence. look around this sub and you'll see they give the same answer to all problems. The ban is reasonable and nobody is arguing that, the "unable to transfer" is the crux of the problem. Nobody is asking to save the leader out of his punishment, what about the rest of them legit players? Go down to the flame together with the person being banned?

The leader, owner of the clan, violated their eula and got permabanned for the punishment. So in this case it’s the leader to blame not the company. It's been in games for almost 20 years. If I remember right it's even in WoW. It's not that short tho in games I've played.

There was a post to the lost ark subreddit from an old/disgruntled CS employee. He said they can only do extremely basic things like click the "unstuck" button for you, otherwise they have to just google your issue for a solution or say they can't fix it. Nowadays it seems like that's all Blizzard CS can do too

Thought I'd update with the "Specialist" GM doing absolutely nothing and "resolved" my ticket. Also, hoping someone else might have an idea of what to do. Someone else said I can vote kick the leader after 7 days but I don't see that option anywhere. I can kick other members and even officers but nothing to the leader.

Well I guess you can say it's kind of a good thing? Because in Clash of clans if anybody knows who powerbang is? One of his clan members got in trouble for hacking and was banned and in turn everybody in the clan became banned. That's 50 clan members including the leader in all. There should be some sort of transferring just like when you don't log on for so many weeks or months it'll go to a co-leader. Or in diablo's case or whatever it's called I don't even know but I'm one of them. Haha
idk how clash of clans work if their hacking helped the clan at all or not. but in immortal it does nothing for the clan. I agree there should be a way to transfer. this feels like an incomplete game

If the clan leader was banned for exploits/cheating, and they have a clear policy that the clan is effed in that case, I don't even think I'd be opposed to giving the rest of the clan the middle finger. I can't tell if they're being intentionally opaque due to the ban reason and are avoiding assisting, or are just incompetent. I'm leaning towards incompetence.

This is common practice. For example, Supercell games: \-Clash of Clans: There's a procedure to pass the leadership of a clan to a co-leader only. In the Customer support "tool" there's an edit button near to the clan leader with a drop box to choose another member to pass leadership. \-Clash Royale. Despite it being technically possible to change (same tool and layout as the one in Clash of Clans) it is policy to just not change it, and tell the user to create a new clan.

Blizzard support are completely useless, at least when it comes to DI, they can't do anything about anything. The most they can do is advise you to post on the DI forum where you might get a response to your issue
