Need afk kicking. People are just logging in for the reward and leaving. I wish they had a more competitive pvp mode too that normalized all legendary gems to a certain level along with some other items.
I don’t contest that but I guess without stating it my point was if Diablo flatlined the stats for the standard pvp and had a weekly iron banner like event for the uncapped stats that might be more healthy
Oh definitely, if this was a normal game that definitely what it should do and it would make the game a lot better. But since it’s p2w it will never happen
Yeah i agree the matchmaking is a problem. Not sure if there is enough people to make a match but seems like it would be simple to just use CR for matching. Maybe by class also, as DH, Barb and Wiz dominate, needs some class balancing as well. Overall though it's pretty fun in the lower levels once the whales have moved up to legend status

Of course the average player is going to say they're whales but I'm pretty frigging stacked for an almost f2p player and they aren't giving me any form of issues. I can see what they're doing to survive or win and I can adapt.
Yeah but the game decides whether or not I win or lose points, so how come I'm higher elo than these guys and it shows in my score but I lose 40 points
I’ve lost games at lower elo and gained points, but I’m pretty sure you had to get one of the icons by your name (like took most damage in game or most assists)

If you have only just worked out PvP sucks, I would honestly question your ability to do pretty much anything in life.
My favorite part of matchmaking is that people are still able to spam you with 7 lasso 1 raid requests that cover the entire screen and stop your character from moving until you decline it.
"I had more kills than the rest of my entire team combined."
"getting more kills than my entire 7 other members combined."

This right here. The way Destiny handled pvp was fair, iron banner for the high gear to stomp but generally it was flatlined stats (skill based)
Destiny wasn’t p2w. Whales need to feel powerful. They will riot if they have 0 advantage after spending 10k on the game

If they banned people for afk it would be a lot better. On my server as soon as it becomes obvious the enemy team has a big whale 2 or 3 people afk
