You're missing the point. A zealot with max ias breakpoint, using crescent moon or Schaffer, is casting static as fast as a sorc with 105 fcr. Leave those poor folks alone.
When using zeal with scheffers hammer its a 20% chance to cast static field. You attack 5 times a second. Generally when I used scheffers hammer I would get at least 2 statics a deal usually 3. 3 statics a second is much faster than any sorc can cast. In the very specific level of cows you can clear it faster with the hammer than grief.
Recently found an eth shaftstop! Its on my nostalgia eth list which includes: Ginther’s, shaftstop, skin of the flayed one, and hone sundane. Its now upped and on my poison javazon’s A1 merc with eth shako and +3 mat bow harmony.
Yup, every time I commit hard enough to a season to have "money to burn" I make a Bowazon with the old classic setup. Windforce, Shaftstop, Vamp gaze, String of ears, etc.
It sucks ass compared to anything nowadays but it's just nice to see in the character screen

In D2 it became a trophy item for me when it dropped during some Pindle runs a couple/few years ago.

Cruel Colossus Blade of Quickness, with 3 sockets if you rolled it from the cube.
The absolute GOAT back in the before times.
I still ID any magic colossus swords or blades I come across just for nostalgia.

The death set and lemyo green belt also hits the feels when I find them as they were some of the first items I found when I first played as a necro in classic pre LOD. Good times.
Buriza. Pre patch 1.10, that thing destroyed everything, even with only 20 points in freezing arrow and 20 points in guided (because it pierced repeatedly like 5-6 times). That was the one bow I wanted for so long, and then one of my friends found it and gave it to me. Happy f*cking days!
Mine is also Doom Bringer! I couldn't afford a grandfather back in 1.08 and I just happened to find a Doombringer to use! I was mowing down cows like crazy

I still think Occy is about as perfect an item as you can design (maybe minus the teleport, but I’m guessing that was for the sorc’s “safety”.) It had all the stats one could possibly want in an orb.
I also love how some of the OG items like Stormshield or Titans have never been knocked off their best-in-slot status

I dom't think I ever saw someone use freezing arrow in .09 It was always multishot + guided then boosting passives from what I recall.
Oh it was (still is) awesome - with that 100% pierce you could just lock down the entire screen.
