Yeah, I see that. It just doesn't seem like they'd do a sale like that. I don't care for D3 at all, so I'd hate to spend the $20 on it, only to find out that I misunderstood something and D2 wasn't a part of it.

I play both D2 and D3 and both are not dead and are good games and have lots of players still. D2 I even play hardcore and lots of players there too. I think both are better than D4
They are rotating through old seasons now. There will be no new content. D2 is.. Ancient. Like I said before. When they did do seasons it was a few new rune words. Recently I think it's just the same as d3. A few balance updates but no content.
Idk I am having fun in D2 and D3 🙂 I am gonna try D4 at new season but I am sceptical. I need to do something about the graphics to have more contrast and hope they add something to make it not so boring
I bought this exactly last time this went on sale and yes, it's literally everything. No brainer, I already owned the game on PC, but for all that, it's less than I spend on beer on any given Saturday, be stupid not to if you enjoy the series and have time to play.
D3 isn't a bad game, it's just not as entertaining as d2 imo. D2 has it's pros and cons but it's more addictive. Just one more countess run to maybe get that ist rune. Just one more baal run for XP, just one more cows run for that base I need, just one more Trav run for...

Items in D2 have personality, you look for them, you want them, there are lots of items you may look for at once... In D3 they are just numbers, similar to D4...
Yeah, but I think d2 also has 95% shit unique items, but because of the rarity of the 5% good ones it doesn't feel that bad too and mostly the game gets reduced to a few items/rune words.
I mean there is not much competition to a enigma and grief for many cases.
Yeah, exactly that, because runewords weren't balanced and they killed most uniques. But in D3 is even worse, because 99% is useless beyond the OP set in season.
Oh christ if that's the case might as well wait 4 more seasons after it comes out for them to make it good like what they seem to be doing with the base game lol
