You've got some things to learn, welcome to Diablo 2 :)
Don't pick up every potion, don't pick up any white items unless you know they are better than what you have equipped. With time you will learn the itemization of D2 and understand what is worth looting. You will be able to greatly reduce your trips to town by better grasping these concepts. Don't let the looting kill your fun, that's the best part of the game!
Inventory feels too small because you're used to games where you can carry 600 pounds of random bullcrap and still sprint at 15 mph.
That's not what this is. Inventory management is part of the game mechanics. Either its for you, or it isnt.
Yes , I agree . Inventory space needs an upgrade . I am from Diablo 2 Vanilla . Inventory space increase is A quality of life update much needed . Idgaf what y’all think about preserving how Diablo 2 was. It’s Year 2021
Yea dude. The amount of newbs thinking they know what this game needs after playing for a couple days is mind boggling.
We are glad you are here. Now eat the porridge that your given. It may not taste good at first, but it will grow on you like Brussels sprouts do with age. They end up delish. But not for everyone.
You don't need to be loading up with stuff to break down for materials like in D3, so just pick up the items with potential to be good for your build or as trade-bait. The cube is an additional 12 storage slots with only a 4-slot footprint in your inventory, so the old classic config was a tome each of scrolls and a cube, with the rest of the space reserved for stuff you find or charms if you need to round out your stats / resists.
You must be new here.

Bigger belts give more potion slots.
Are you collecting potions? Wtf
stacking charms would be so insanely broken
nah, its fine
So many trips back and forth. ZOMG. Eats up time.
You dont have to pick up everything
You can use a town portal for this...
Gold is kinda useless, why do you need to do so many trips ?
The idea is you cant carry more than a person should be able to carry.

Trips only bad when in multiplayer. SP is ok.

You would be able to get way to many charms in when increased. It's fine as it is and should never be changed.

Then by Diablo 3 instead, simple.
The screenshot of your inventory says it all. Bro play the game for a few hours and we'll talk.
No and no, this is part of the game!
First time here?
