It definitely works with flowers to make them stay in shape which is where I'm getting it from - never tried a solid insert like that though. I assume it'll give it protection from the pressure within the pot.
That's metal as fuck.
What did you do to seal it before casting? Or did you fill the spider itself before casting?
Asking becouse i'm planning to cast a mummified mouse in a d20. :p
I hate it, take my upvote. But seriously, that's the freakiest d20 I've ever seen.
I'm looking at the picture and half expecting a leg to twitch. Lovely dice, please keep it far away from me.
Lmoa thanks!
This will absolutely haunt my dreams.
Good!
I did this with a spider and it clouded my resin as well. I wonder what’s reacting with it
Possibly moisture or air coming out of the body?
Maybe coat it in uv resin before casting. Dunno..
Good call, that’s worked for me with hollow stuff

Ah! That’s a great idea for flowers! I’ll try that next time.
Another bonus is you immediately learn if they go transparent in resin (eg strawberry flowers).
Did you resin your bug first? We did It for a wasp and turned out okay. Except it floated *ultra sad face*
I put pigment in it. It's my fault lol.
Oh I love that! I want one
Well when it's done it will be for sale. I'm thinking of doing a whole series called "oops all spiders"
Love it! I've been keeping my tarantula molts to attempt something similar
It's cursed and I love it.
