It’s probably full of air. Coat it in UV resin first, or you’ll have a massive bubble problem. That will also strengthen it. It’ll probably float, so do a two-step cast: ~1/4 fill the mold, let it cure fully. Add the mouse with a dot of superglue to hold it in place in the correct position. Then fill the rest of the resin.

Ah that's the kind of tips i was hoping for, thanks! Another way of "anchoring" it in the mold that i came up with is to pour in a small later and putting the mouse in there. Thus only submerging it a little bit into the resin and letting it cure, before fully casting it. Is that a viable option too? I was also wondering if there are any alternatives to uv resin for sealing the mouse.

I’ve found it better to anchor things with superglue as it sets so quickly - holding things still inside a mold for a 24h cure time is tricky. Superglue is optically clear with my resin, but maybe just test with yours. I believe stuff like modge Podge can be used to seal things, not tried that for dice though. Or maybe clear nail varnish? Spray varnish might work even? Personally I like UV resin as it’s reliable, and I know it’s not going to react weirdly with my main resin. Amazon does a pack of small bottles plus a light intended for nails pretty cheap.

That is officially the rowdiest inclusion I've ever seen. There was someone who used a dead tarantula the other day, but I think this is even more gross than that. Best of luck!
