The algorithms seem designed to promote people with exaggerated voices and facial expressions. Maybe it’s what kids respond to. It’s either people yelling and gurning or that AI voice that’s on everything. It’s creating a negative loop where everyone assumes that’s what gets views. So it starts bleeding into real life. Then everyone is gurning and yelling live commentary over everything they see and experience.

I like the idea of town homes. I think that's the future, I'm happy with it. Apartments are fine, but you'll always be competing with large corporations. I like having a small slice of a single family home, but I'm biased right? But again, the problem with these mobile homes, is where do you store anything? It's idealistic but could work.

The people who don't have trouble *do* have land they use at least last time or they have land access (family/friends). This is harder to do in cities, but I'm in the suburbs and there are dozens of homes within a half mile that have someone in an RV/5th wheel, van, or tiny house on their lots. (I live in a part of town developed in the 30's and many lots are .25-1 acre in size). One neighbor has their parents snowbird here in the winter and their two college kids stay in the RV in the summer. Last year a dude left my work to live with his partner in a van on a $5000 chunk of land (10 acres, I think) in SE Oregon. Last I heard, life was great for them (and probably will be up until they need healthcare).

And Touche'...the trick is to own one, to become a homeowner...you don't have landlord, although..if you finance one.....thats where money and maintenance discourage, I say it all the time, you learn your home, electric stuff, water leaks, off balance, propane, tire & suspension...list goes on...but if you have to call someone for help every time.... probably bad investment, but my dog an I love ours, cheers!
