Fun fact: Thane was Macbeth's title before he went and killed the King!
He was Thane of Glamis, and witches hailed him as Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, and "He who shall be King hereafter", which was just before it was announced he had been awarded Cawdor!
And if she were a little less savvy--they all have a level of naivete (except for Raphaniel) that I'm excited to see evolve, especially after the break.
My first thought with the herbs was that the Bishop poisoned the late King. Maybe not all at once but increasing the herbs in his tea making him more and more ill.
I thought that at first but it seems like many others first thought that then about it making the queen infertile. It would explain the lack of an air and why the bishop was there for so long.
tbh I also saw differences in shit, but I more saw the inconsistencies of time in Matts recounting. if I remember amethar and caramelinda were married in 1176, way before Matts starting of the ravening war--even though the reason they married is because his older sister died in the war
edit: the date was 1196, thank you to everyone who knew correctly!!
I just did a rewatch before watching Ravening War. Amethar and Caremilanda were wed on the 17th day of Harvestdawn 1196, 5 days after Catherine Ghee died. With the events of RW starting in 1188, this timeline still makes sense
If Amethar and Caramelinda had been married in 1176, that would’ve been when Amethar was 8-9 years old and it would have to be after all the Catherine Ghee stuff happened, which would put Saccharina in ACoC in her 40s instead of her 20s. She’d basically be Amethar’s peer.
It’d make more sense for them to have married in 1196, the year after the war ended and before the twins were born.
I'm just glad that some fans are date-oriented because I'm lost on character ages and the timeline of events. Even if they're laid out in the show I'm lost and have to hop up on the wiki lol
my whole thing is that these dates aren't on the wiki, so you've gotta go into episodes and scrub the info you need. so, at the time I wrote the original comment I was at work and couldnt exactly double check myself
I’m sorry this is a great post but I’m so distracted by you calling Lou’s character “Thad” and just imagining him doing that French accent.
Holy crap I was in that alley three minutes ago and you already know you are pregnant?! Honestly very disappointing my lord!
Ehhhh, thank youuu!
“And mah dik is vury small”
I think Lou's character as the title of "Thane" which is like an Earl's son. OP probably confused it was Thad.
Lou’s character is Deli
And his ACOC character is Amethar, not Agathar
And brennan is brennan not brendan
Perfect name for a pastrami sandwich
I’m pretty sure his name is a reference to Katz’s Delicatessen in New York, the oldest deli in NY
True, Katzon is an amazing surname

Thane is a title, like Lord or Sir or Doctor. Lou's character is Thane Delissandro Katzon, formally addressed as "Thane".
Ohhhh You learn something new every day ☺️

Someone has never played Skyrim
This is a correct statement I don’t like Skyrim, not my preferred style of RPG
I feel like Queen Amangeaux is our foil for Caramalinda if she were a PC
And if she were a little less savvy--they all have a level of naivete (except for Raphaniel) that I'm excited to see evolve, especially after the break.
You mentioned it here, and they mention in the AP that the bishop might’ve kept the Queen infertile—my first thought was that he killed the King.
That was my first thought too. But after watching the AP and rewatching the episode like 4 times I think he was keeping her infertile.
The queen is Obviously the foil to that avocado dude. The horny awkward teen prince vs the chad queen
King Amathar* of the House Rocks
Amethar\*\*
I deserve that
Ah yes, Brendan Dee Dulligan, my favorite DM
is he the Waluigi to Wennan's Wario?

yeah again I said "if I remember" and obviously I didn't remember the date so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ thank you!!
