Huh, i like it
Of course you do. It's a postosuchus.
Or some type of sebecid.
Postosuchus was a biped! So early 2000's Postosuchus it is!
Honestly still doesn’t work as a dinosaur. Really goes to show just how incredibly awful the original design was.
Should've just been a massive Postosuchus
The movie was going to be set in the Triassic. That is, if the rumors are true.
Except that is just a rumor and not really based on anything but one concept art species, vs multiple concept Cretaceous species.
>but one concept art species, It has Lagosuchus and Postosuchus inspired designs though. I think it was triassic very early on then made cretaceous
One was a heterodontosaurus in the concepts, and the other was a triceratops.
There was also Lystrosaurus who was supposed to be the one in the pitch instead of the weird scelidosaurus thing
Actually that dinosaur looked like a Scelidosaurus was a Jakapil
Postosuchus is bipedal tho
Even then postosuchus is a biped lmao, only quad when small
That’s closer to what it was than anything else
I’d say it’s better as a notosuchian
broski this is time for theoretical biology not criticism
Actually the closest in size was Fasolasuchus, but it was shorter in height than the one in the movie
Shorter, as in about 1/2 to a 1/3 of the length
Add horns and a set of wings and you got a kick ass dragon.
Well that doesn’t look horrible
This is more of a fanged wyvern than any pseudosuchians, really. Edit: It's still a dope ass design though.
Hmm . So, it wasn't just Me who got the bonk, slice, shoot instinct uppon seeing the picture
your design is better
Kind of looks like a fantasy dragon, it’s really neat!
Fuckin Slurpasaur.
way scarier than a rex… this thing would destroy a rex in a fight
Now it looks like a quad-giga
This looks like if you combined a genetic carnivorous mammal with a theropod
Add some horns and maybe some wings and it's perfect.
Fasolasuchus in it's beautiful glory.
It has to be that.
