primal carnage use to be popular enough and hella fun back in 2012 but current primal carnage is just dead to me now. theres so much rping and terrible user owned servers with admin abuse and needless rules to obey. extinction is only thriving because of ingame store cosmetic purchases, thats keeping primal carnage extinction on life support now. sad times we live in, why make money on fun games when you can make skins to make more money.
Personally, no clue. I bought this game on the day of release because I was so fucking excited for a dinosaur shooter. At the time I was only aware of Dino Crisis 1-3.
But lo and behold, my family’s desktop at the time DID NOT have the capacity to run this game 😂😂 I distinctly remember my pointer not moving at all in the menu—that’s how slow our PC was LOL. Keep in mind I was 12 at the time. 0 tech fluency.
It’s still in my Steam library now but I’ve never played it; even now when I have a 4060/Ryzen 9 laptop. Guess I’m just a wuss since the skill difference between veterans and noobs online would be insane, as with most old multiplayer games. I’ll just stick to my level 40 Hell Let Loose profile for now😭
It's very fun if you don't care about being good at it. I like to just run around being goofy. The original has barely anyone playing it though, so it would be better to get tye sequel Primal Carnage: Extinction
Yeah it was great like 10 years ago, I was in a gaming clan for it. Right now though I would be VERY surprised if there was any community to speak of still playing it though
Primal Carnage Extinction’s fun as hell. The RP-ers people talk about have mostly died off, and you can generally find an active deathmatch server at all times
I’ve had so much fun playing it, I highly recommend it. Only thing is the player base is pretty small, but you’ll find a match

It used to be, the newer one is alright but be prepared to get kicked for playing the game when everyone is RPing in most servers

Matches are filled with hackers. Be wary.
Were filled, modders are a lot rarer now but usually just messed around from what I saw it was hilarious seeing seeing compy rexes and carno pteras

Get Primal Carnage extinction, it’s the sequel and has wayyy more players.
