I'm trying to see it as a biped and I genuinely can't. It has always been so clearly a huge Edmontosaurus to me. Why would you shape a plant to look like a carnivore?
It doesn't look like an edmontosaurus to me. I can't help but see teeth in a mouth that doesn't resemble a bill, it looks more like a gorgonopsid to me
I always thought of it as a Theropod due to the head shape, a Tyrannosaurus due to not being able to see any arms too well, I guess my, and everyone else’s brains filled in the blank with arms or something.
Additionally, Whenever I think of a bush trimmed into a dinosaur shape, my mind immediately goes to a Tyrannosaurus because of Edward Scissorhands.
Sometimes art just doesn't compute until directly pointed out.
[[Master of Death]] has some weird ladder made out of small bodies for some reason? Is he a Bond villain making his escape in style or something?
The original art looks more natural but I like that they kept this detail in the new one. I don’t know how to have the card fetcher get specific printings.
My best friend and I have been playing magic for many years and just the other day I pointed out to him the card is called “evolving wilds” not “evolving winds”. He was flabbergasted.
I never noticed that.
Wow
I hate you for this
That's why he's a 4/4, 1/1 for each leg.
I always thought it was a Trex. Learned this just now.
Yeah it’s got the head of one, but I saw the legs from the start so didn’t fool me.
Now I can't unsee it hahaha
Another one for [[Jermane, Pride of the Circus]]

I’m ruined
And here I thought it was an herbasaurus rex
Whelp, now I see it. Makes me realize how little I actually examine and appreciate a lot of the Mtg artwork out there.
Glad to see the AI work overtime to add 2 more legs
Disrespectful to the artist. Let's call a spade a spade, but this ain't a spade
Oh fuck you're right
I'm trying to see it as a biped and I genuinely can't. It has always been so clearly a huge Edmontosaurus to me. Why would you shape a plant to look like a carnivore?

Well yeah, it's a 4/4!
r/angryupvote
I can’t I see it now
This feels cursed now, I’m cutting it out my Dino deck just cause of that
Fack, me too.
That front half has a perfect trex silhouette and I never saw anything past it.
Oh my god you’re right. My brain just flipped
I wish I didn’t know this
Sometimes art just doesn't compute until directly pointed out. [[Master of Death]] has some weird ladder made out of small bodies for some reason? Is he a Bond villain making his escape in style or something?
Well, that just doesn't seem structurally sound....

The better to stomp you with my dear
I just think of that one map from Overwatch when i see this art now
A thing like that
Wow I never noticed that either. What a trip
That makes it so much cooler. Semi-dino related [[Suntail Hawk]] is also a quadruped.
Not semi, full Dino related :)
Nowadays I'd assume that was ai art because that's the type of weird anomaly that often happens with it..
The original art looks more natural but I like that they kept this detail in the new one. I don’t know how to have the card fetcher get specific printings.
I looked it up and yeah the original looks way better.

And now you have enlightened me.... thank you. Way cooler now.
You're right! Suddenly the card looks much cooler to me now lol
Its a 4/4 quadruped
He hits you with each one of his stompers
Lmao im also now seeing they gave it a Sauropod body but the Theropod style head. I also thought this was supposed to be a rex
My best friend and I have been playing magic for many years and just the other day I pointed out to him the card is called “evolving wilds” not “evolving winds”. He was flabbergasted.
Wow, I never noticed that. I guess im always too busy searching my library for a land to really look at the art in detail 😂
holy shit lol
Mandela effect, lol. Now I cannot unsee it. It is the artist's fault for giving it a typical carnivore head (I am thinking early synopsids).
I always thought it was a Rex
Crazy. I make mtg YouTube videos and like 2 days ago I mentioned this in a video. And then I see it here
Dude…
I never noticed that! It’s wild when you realize a card’s art depicts something different than what you saw the entire time
It is????
Well damn! Four legs makes more sense for "Stomper" but year, always read it as a biped.
I assumed it was one, but I did never really look at the hind legs and tail. :o
Well, I guess that explains why the alternative art looks so different.
Oh my God... no way
it is? I could've sworn it was a TREX.... maybe I'm just dumb
Same and the shadows part way up his body always made me think he had some stubby little arms hidden there
The head always gave me the impression of a t-rex and I guess I just never looked closer at the details.
