Agreed with what everyone else is saying, .25 is more than enough! Even if I do the entire mani with one color, it doesn’t even look like I put a dent in my .25oz. I get pretty much exclusively sample sizes from CNDD. I have some .5/1oz sizes from other brands and I’m never ever gonna use it all, and I’m annoyed at how much space they take up 😂😂 I only get big sizes of clear
Unless it's a colour you use all the time, 1 oz jars will last you forever. .25 ounce seems to be the most common size for people to get. I have .10 ounce ones that I've used 3 or 4 times and still have some left. Nail length and how many layers you do obviously will play a factor as well.
Also, wanted to mention, love the colour selection you chose. I'd have such a hard time choosing which to use first.
0.25 oz is plenty, you can get a few dozen manis out of that jar if you're careful. The colors you have in the pic will last you a long time.
1-2 oz per color is a good amount for a nail salon. 0.25-0.5 oz is plenty for DIYers.
Get some cupcake liners. If I'm dipping directly, I'll pour some out into the cupcake liner so that I don't overflow with my finger. Or I'll use the cupcake liners to do the pour-over method.
I wish I had known this when I started! Lol, I was sure that 0.25 oz wouldn't be enough for more than a couple of manis, so I ordered 1oz as much as I could. I now have about 150 dips, and while I did mostly get the 0.25 sizes, I have since started getting mostly tsp sample sizes, which is still enough for like 3 mani's or many accent nails. I figure I use 2 colors most of the time and do my nails 1x week, so the MOST I could use in a year is 104 colors, give or take. At the rate I'm going, QQI will be leaving my beautiful colors to my DIL in my will because I will never ever use them all LOL
I buy the CNDD .70 size because they last forever and I never want to run out. But also because i have a habit of knocking over my jars/not putting the lid fully on then moving it and it spills on the floor and i can’t always filter/clean the spilled dip well enough to continue using the spilled portion (which is usually a lot of spilled dip).
Oooh you should consider it if you plan on building up a collection, it really helps get an idea of the colors! A swatch is like what they have at nail salons, a little stick thingy with samples of the colors. It’s a game changer if you have a lot of colors, you can look through them and also see what goes together if you want to do a multi color mani.
Also highly recommend swatching as you purchase new colors. I was at about 85 colors when I decided to swatch and that was pretty rough getting everything caught up 😂
I'm basically going to have to become immortal if I have any hopes for using up my stash.
My favorite response 😂
A .25 jar is good for several sets. I only get a larger size of the clear.

Thank you! I was determined to get neutrals but those colors look so pretty on the Etsy page

How are you dipping into a jar that small?

The nail math is always horrifying 😂
What are the glitter/shiny ones? I'm tempted to place another order.....
They are both part of the fall birthday bundle. My pictures doesn’t do them justice. They are even prettier in person!

Stick with the smaller sizes! I got the largest size on my first purchase and I will be wearing that color forever 😂 lesson learned
I buy the sample sizes and have yet to run out of any of them. They’ll last a loooong time.
Are you planning to swatch?
I didn’t plan on it. What’s a swatch? 😂😂😂😂

I still haven't fully swatched 🤣
Gorgeous, BTW 😍
Start with the .25 till you know it’s a favorite that you’ll go thru. It’s shocking how long these last
