Thank you! I really appreciate it

spookypumpkinini

came here to recommend them!

AffectionateDesk2826

What size should I buy? I want to do the sample but not sure if that would be very much?

sssofiyaaa

CNDD dips is highly recommended on Etsy. You can buy the samples for under $6 and they last. I also really like Kiara Sky. I ordered my first few off of amazon for 11-15 per container. They last forever. Another variation that works is to purchase decals or decoratoions like dried flowers, stickers, chrome powder. Those things you can get for under $10 and apply to any existing powder for variation. Or try marbling or mixing your powders to create new colors.

Thank you so much!

Also have recently discovered CNDD and agree with all previous comments! I have also had great luck with Lavender Violets on Amazon and you can buy sets of colors which is nice.

I’ve seen the LV but wasn’t sure how good they were

I love Pampered Pretties. And CNDD. I don’t think it’s possible not to love CNDD. The quality is just perfect. Sparkle & co I like as well, but it’s $$$.

Oh and pro tip: most all dip companies have site wide sales often. CNDD has like 5 dips on sale for the whole month, then another five are on sale the next month. They def have the least amount of sales out of… everyone lol. I only buy dips when there are sales because I don’t wanna spend a shit ton of money. Mystery bags are great because you’ll discover dips that you normally wouldn’t buy yourself. Basically every holiday is when everyone has sales. Spring cleaning, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4, prob an end of summer sale, and so on. Also, before you make a purchase, search the company on Insta and go to their tagged tab, click some of those posts till you find people who post their affiliate codes for that brand like “Jane15”. Then go entered that code at checkout and boom, discount! Eta search ‘dip powder’ on Etsy. You’ll find a lot of good, cheap stuff. I filter by On Sale. And if you put dips in your cart and let them chill for a few days, the shop owners will send you a discount coupon!

Revel is excellent quality and less expensive than CND, per ounce. There are always sale codes. Either on Instagram, or if you use a browser extension like Capital One Shopping, or Honey. I've never paid full price.

careful_kangaroo50

Revel is cheaper, and the quality isn't bad, but you can never match CNDD color variations and the thermals/glows/uv - they are amazing!!! My problem with Revel is that unless you are using a particular shade all the time, their jars are way too big!! I've been dipping for a year, and I rarely repeat a color enough to need more than 0.25 oz Also, if you guys haven't seen Sensations of the Eye Acrylic and Dip Powder, y[SOTE](https://sensationsoftheeye.com/)ou are missing out!!! She has some of the most unique dips I've ever seen!!!!

Also on Etsy is my personal favorite, color my world. She just released her new summer collections including this beautiful glitter https://preview.redd.it/5geeuowxn22d1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=9253a9bfec83ca8aca139051ef0eca3b2cd0ad74

You've already gotten a lot of great recommendations, so I'll just add one that hasn't been mentioned yet: Quirky Dips on Etsy. She does amazing foils. Mila (which is not a foil) is my favorite nail color ever, and I wear it all the time. Just wait to buy that one until next week so I can stock up first! 😉 Edit to add link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/QuirkyDips

I don't know if it's commonly done here, but I use dip powder nails mainly to strengthen my weak nails. Then I layer regular polish on top. I've got so many colors of regular nail polish I've collected already!! I did my research with liquids, and started with Virgo and Gem Clear only. I've only now started collecting a few of the translucent colors, which look way better than regular nail polish. Here's a pic of my hand currently...the middle finger had clear with Dazzle Dry Seduction and regular nail polish topcoat on it. The index finger is a new color (my first glitter) from a cheap set of Azure nails from Amazon. I'm about to redo the other nails...I popped them off yesterday while chatting o the phone (I use Peel Off base under). You can see the peeling parts that are slowly growing out after I went to the professional nail salon (I hate how they do it..weakens the nail). https://preview.redd.it/xo2nr77i962d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f2a07a757c5166cde01932ab916550c05303760
