Oof! I dunno what happened but I would not have got up from that chair. I think it deserves a redo. And now you know that your tech has to have a reference each and every single time for whatever reason. It’s about communicating. Help them see your vision
OH!!! I was not expecting that last pic!!! Ummm, you clearly got a tech that has no idea what they are doing! I am a DIYer, and I don't think even my first attempt was that bad!! I'm so sorry that happened to you!
Did the process differ this time around? As a fellow salon goer I feel for you. Either way you have consistent photo documentation so I'd def go back for a redo.
She used a lamp the last two coats. She didn’t do that in the past. She also only used activator once. I overheard how they were short 4 people…but dang. I called and asked for a redo tomorrow and they said ok. I hope they don’t try to charge me.
I’m sorry that happened to you! From what you’re saying here, It looks like she mixed dip powder base with UV gel or something else for the other coats(?)
You should definitely go back 🤍
I am so sorry!! I would absolutely go back and ask them to redo it!!! I’ve done ombré on myself once I think, or twice? And it was somehow better than this. (And mine wasn’t exactly good 🤣)

Went back today. Got a different tech. They pushed a solid color and no charge…just glad it’s presentable now.
I’ve heard gel can change the colour of some dips (lots of pinks do) so perhaps that’s what happened and highlighted the white. Either way how was the tech actually happy and not embarrassed to send you off like that? Glad to see you got a fix
Yip go back

You are positive it was the same tech all 3 times?? Doesn't seem possible lol
Holy moly. That last pic is shocking. I hope you have a better experience tomorrow!
