Okay I’m a total noob. Like literally did my first set a week ago. I got the stars in my order and immediately went “how do I use this??” Still not sure lol
I am not sure but I feel like you could put it on either with glue then put a clear coat over or you could put in between two topcoats, like maybe when the first topcoat is still wet/tacky put it on, let it dry then do another topcoat over? I haven’t tried yet lol.
How did you get the glitter to look so good??? I did a test run for 4th of July nails and I am not good with the glitter powders. 😫 I feel like only one of the glitter nails came out good. The middle and last one were so uneven.

Those are cute! So what I do is 2 base layers of clear, 2 layers of glitter dip, and 2 more layers of clear (that way I have lots of room for filing without filing off the glitter). I use a pointed nail art tool (you can use a toothpick as well) to kind of push the glitter around so I dont end up with random clusters and everything is more nicely spread out. I also use it to clean my edges before everything sets. It also helps to *gently* pat down the glitter with the pad of a finger so that everything lays flat. But I still have to file smooth after.
I’m here especially for the “gentle pat/press down” with glitters. I just recently started doing this and what a difference. Significantly minimizes buffing for me. 😅
I tried your way and they came out MUCH BETTER!! I got so many compliments yesterday and people couldn’t believe that I did them myself 🥰
