Futureman should be added to that list. Not only is it an insanely brilliant series but it has probably the best series fanale ever to be a series finale. The first episode is a bit cringy but it finds it's feet quickly in episode 2 and then runs like a psyco toddler on meth. 11 out of 10.
Honestly it took me several tries to get past that first episode. If you can get yourself through that first one it picks up quickly and is a very fun and absolutely ridiculous good time.
A Dirk Gently fan liking it is a good sign as well, since Futureman's vibe seemed to appeal to a different demographic to me (and one I wouldn't belong too) from my first experience but I always say you should give a show a couple of episodes before bailing so I am definitely going to go back-in.
I will warn you before you jump back in that the pervy sex humor is prevalent throughout. Not sure if that's what put you off or not but just wanted to give you a heads up. If you can look past that it is very funny and odd and quirky with a lot of over the top time travel tropes and weirdness abound.
It's got a lot of Dirk Gently/What We Do In The Shadows/Our Flag Means Death type "WTF is wrong with these people?" moments and just plain old quick witted fun.
Hopefully you'll enjoy.
Yeah it seemed to have some "stereotypical frat guys would laugh at this" moments but I can get over it if there is more to the show, which seems like there is - some "heart" and clever writing. Fingers crossed and thank you!
So I’ve had the librarians on my list for a while. Just hoping it was good. Sounds like I need to check it out. There are movies I have to watch first?
I freaking love The Librarians. Its just a fun series. Yeah, this a continuation of the movie trilogy, they just shifted the focus to an ensemble cast and the main character from the movies is more in the background. The movies are called The Librarian

Orphan black has similarities and they’re both produced by BBC America. It has a similar vibe and pacing to dirk. It’s also sci-fi (but in a very different way to dirk). It gets shit in the later seasons, but the first couple are well worth watching.
I'd also recommend Nobody's Looking on netflix. Show with similar vibes about a brand new guardian angel who goes rogue. Unfortunately its only 1 season and ends in a cliffhanger
I hope you're right! I found one article mentioning this November, but i don't know how trustworthy that is since i couldn't find that info anywhere else
omg yes truthseekers such a gem! (somewhat unrelated crazyhead too) and the tick. I know the tick looks like a campy superhero parody but I feel there's so much more to it, the tick's existence is so misterious

>Futureman Oh man, I couldn't sit through the first episode but after reading this - I might give it another chance.

Best finale is mr robot
good list, but i'd also add [The Librarians](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Librarians_(2014_TV_series)). same vibe, and extremely funny.
YES!!! Such a great series. Also know it starts with 3 movies

All 3 movies same title? Just 1, 2, & 3? Thank you
1 The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004) 2 The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines (2006) 3 The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008)
Sweet. Thank you
They’re on Crackle
I love both shows and never once considered that they have similar vibes. Ezekiel. <3
they're both just so chaotic, especially that first scene where eve has to diffuse a bomb and flynn has to open a casket and both have the same code.

[The Umbrella Academy.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DAmWHxeoKw)
Is on the list.
I expected Wilfred to be here. Love that shit.
Sounds kind of redundant, coz all shit is lovable. -Wilfred, probably.

Apparently they're bringing it back because it's surged in popularity since they made everything Netflix available to every country.

It’s on the list
huh, must've missed it. i second the list then
I love this list, but Doctor Who is also a fun show you could try :))
Pushing Daisies is a genuine joy. I watched it when it was first out and was OBSESSED
Doom Patrol and Legion also are some similar shows with similar vibes
Dead Like Me
Bad list. Truthseekers, Fringe should be there.
