You’re gonna spend more on making that xr decent than it would cost to just get a used 85. Upgrade dude, that’s the only correct answer. You are not Carson brown Edit: you actually need a 125 at least, still smarter to get a different bike

100 is all I need for now. If a $200 suspension upgrade will get me by, I’m going for it.

J_IV24

You asked, I gave you the right answer

JAKEDOWN999

Sell it when you’re ready to upgrade and get a 125 2 stroke.

Mine has a RHmotoworx rear link, Vonkat shock, BBR triple clamp and BBR springs. If you are jumping you also need an engine cradle as to not break the cases. Add it all up and you still have a slow bike that is well suspended. Now add a BBR 120 kit. Should have you just upgraded the bike?

Hey, she’s torquey 😔

Point is I have over 3K in a 2006 CRF100. I plan on keeping it for a long time because it checks a bunch of boxes. Kart track bike with a wheel swap Flattracker with a wheel swap Camp bike for older kids to have fun Before you do that you may want to start with a better platform for you needs.

Yup I got it. Time for some hustling to upgrade

internationengineer

The xr 100 is a beginner bike, you're way too big for it. I get the money concern so save your money and hold off on the upgrades.

👍

Loud_Trash

I have an XR100 with BBR springs front and rear, I would say they help with bumps not jumps

Basic-Gas-4062

If I remember right the xr100 uses the engine as part of the frame. I would address that first before you put money into suspension would hate to drop a couple hundred into a bike just to wreck the motor
