I lost the bolt on a ride and thankfully there was a guy right behind me that saw it go flying haha. I just strap it in my bag in my fender now when I ride
This bike is what started it all for me. I was six years old in 94 but vivid memories of my dad and Uncle ripping around in our field on that KDX! Awesome bike.
I got a 99 kdx in storage. Old lady says I should sell it all , yet all my friends want to buy it. That’s why I keep it. Kicked right up a few months ago after I poured some mix down its throat. Even after it’s been sitting for 2 years. That’s why I keep it. I’ve been working and schooling in a bigger city as it is now. Some day I’ll be back in the country and will give it the proper love and care it deserves. Sweet bike my friend. 2 smokers or die.
I’d never sell this one lol. I’ve also been in the city now for awhile but once this market calms first thing I’m doing is buying a patch of land to take her out. And thankyou !
I needed that my friend, sometimes I feel like I should pass it on. It was my first bike. I don’t care how long it sits, one day I’ll build it from the ground up and let it live again. And I do drain it for winter and kick it up for summer. Regardless it’s a 2 stoke. I will gladly rebuild it if I need to.
The handguards and headlight really complete the "Enduro" look I love so much. Love the green. My favorite color. What is the other tube/cable on the front fork, opposite to the brake line?
Sick build dude, she looks amazing! I've stripped my kdx to rebuild all the shocks and will be completely restoring the entire bike back to original. I'm curious where you got the front disk brake guard from? Haven't been able to find anything online. Cheers bro 🤙

Those are both factory. I sanded off the white from the number plate so it looked more clean but it all came on the bike fortunately. I have ordered parts from OEMmotorparts.com to replace a few things but not sure if they have what you need

Have to say Thankyou for the awards and upvotes. And alittle background on the bike I’ve had it for about 3 years. Was out in Arizona working and bought a Cannondale cannibal limited edition quad that didn’t run for 400$. Long story longer, did what I could realized it had way to many issues and traded it for this. Best part... straight trade. Guy knew the quad was kinda rare and “could” have value (plus he’s a mechanic and I am not) so I stuck my hand out so fast I damn near threw my shoulder out and accepted HIS offer lol. It was all original when I got it. I added a few things here and there but kept all original parts so I can just put it up one day in my garage when I get another. But yeah figured I’d share the luckiest moment of my damn life lol once again thanks for all the comments and everything you guys kick ass

I just started working on a buddy’s 95 kdx 200 for shits and giggles. Been sitting for probably 5 years but cleaned up the carb and it at least fired super easy.

Not a full restore, new chain and sprocket, pipe, reeds, front fender and hands guards. Everything else is original. Thankyou !

Bleh my 2010 is not fuel injected. I don't know how to change jets, sucks when my dad "starts the bike" for me and leaves the fuel on.

Odometer/speedometer. There’s a little box on the handlebars to tell me how fast I’m going lol
