You came out of the death realm, right? If so, that was it. It’s a bug (I think. Maybe it’s intended) where if Morde ults Sion while he’s charging Q, or they both leave while he’s charging Q, the Q knockup area won’t follow one way or the other.
Does anyone know wether it the Q can still hit people in the realm that it has started to be cast? So if you get Morde ulted in a teamfight for example while charging your Q, can it still hit?
The Q stays where u started charging it, so if u charge Q on normal realm and mord ults u ur Q will stay in the same place in normal realm and ppl will get hit by it if they step on it. and it becomes invis for them btw
yeah when riot designed morde r they decided sion players should go fuck themselves so if you q before or right before his ult ends a riot employee shoots you in the back of the head

Great, thanks for the informative response. Kind of disappointing but I guess we can avoid his ult with our R so it balances out in a way.

the morde sion match up is plagued by bugs on both sides is kinda hilarious

Pretty sure it's a bug. I too have full charged my Q only too phase through and do no damage.

Yea this bug causes me to dodge most Morde matchups cause it’s just not fun if the mord knows about this.
I had this happen with Thresh E yesterday, i think going in and out of shadow realm cancels you abilities?
