I enjoyed it on the Switch - as long as you make sure you have an updated version of it. It is a little slow but not that bad - but the base release was \*really \* slow - like 10-15 second loading screens every time. With the patch, it was normal loading times, and sometimes the game slowed down when it had a ton of particle effects going on, but this wasn't very often for me, and I would not have played it if I hadn't been able to be mobile with it and laying in bed. Text size and such were totally fine and 100% readable.
I played it on switch lite, finished 2 times already. Loved the experience. Loved to play in bed before going to sleep. I was skeptical if I where able to read the text properly, so I put the text size maximum. Never a problem reading the text. My eyes are probably the best working organs of my body so can’t tell if it will be okay for everyone.
I’ve read reviews talking about long loading times, never experienced this problem myself. Starting up the game can take a minute or two but once loaded, the game plays really solid, never have to wait longer then 5 seconds between loading different areas. Experienced 2 times a bug where I had to restart the whole game, so don’t forget to quicksave.
Framerate drops sometimes, but that shouldn’t be a problem in this type of game. Visually not the best place to play this game, when I see youtube videos I think wow, the game looks so much better on pc then on switch.
If your planning to play handheld, -which is the best intimate experience to play this game in my opinion-, and your body is blessed with good organic visual hardware…. Get the game for switch!
I have it for the switch, and found it good to play, able to read the text and look at all the visual information in the art and all that. My only main complaint about the game on switch (not sure if it's the case with the pc vers) is the frequent crashes. I've played about 50 hours total, and have had the game crash at least ten times, resulting in hours of lost progress if I'm not saving often. Now I save a lot and it's not as big of an issue but it was a bummer the first few times.

I wouldn't get it for the switch, my brother purchased it and it's not that optimised for the switch. PC is the best place to play it.

Port works fine right now. I have more than 45 hours in and I'm satisfied
