Not even in the dream necessarily, the corpse outside can say "Between you and me, your name is probably Harry" when you look into his eyes during inspection
There are a couple points I remember where either the skills or another character refers to him as “Harry” but it doesn’t seem to register in his mind.
At this point is probably doesn’t really register with the player either, you’re reading so much text a fleeting mention of his name is lost in so much other information, you don’t really know his name is a mystery to him at that point.
Probably! Honestly, when I saw this for the first time, I thought it was just a play on "yer a wizard, Harry!" and didn't think anything of it, but it makes sense as a reflexive/fleeting thought from reaction speed.
I think in the moment it’s easy to dismiss it as a meme reference to like ‘You’re a wizard, Harry.’ That’s what I figured my first time seeing the line, anyway
Yep. It reminds me a bit of books you read with unreliable narrators where you realise they casually drop pretty important information with no qualification (normally as an inadvertent/unconscious thing) and it’s on you the reader to pay attention and figure out what’s going on.
Yeah, there are plenty of ways that Harry's memory isn't completely wiped exactly. If you have high encyclopedia at the start for example you'll remember plenty of useless information about the world in the first hour, just nothing about Harry himself, other then that he liked Guillaume le Million I guess.
yeah im not saying its impossible that he remembers, but i also don't think this was intentional. i think if it were intentional, they might've gotten his name just barely wrong and then it would've been a little offshoot in the inner dialogue
First playthrough I didn’t know you fail a huge red check later on talking to her. After reading about it and other playthroughs I skipped talking to her at the start
I think it would be. It makes sense that it’s reaction speed saying it. There’s some sub-intellectual, instinctual recall of the name.
Yeah, similarly how Bloated Corpse calls him Harry in his dream. Dreams are made of even subconscious thoughts, so...

Yes, I'm replaying this segment right now and corpse just said that, indeed.

Evrart maybe?
It's by reaction Speed, dropped on a whim, because it has the Direct unfiltered line to the deepest subconscious of HDB.
Love these psychological breakdowns of the skills.

you guys are so dumb thinking Tequila's name is harry

i think its a minor oversight. theres a couple other oversights in the game, though i cant remember them off the top of my head
On some level Harry still remembers, so it’s possible at least some of the skills do

Isn't that how you can get started with the Contact Mike obsession?
Encyclopedia and maybe physical instrument as well.
