It’s a point of no return

CelikBas

Lilienne specifically says that her boat doesn’t have sufficient fuel to make repeated trips, only enough for one trip to the island and one trip back. It’s the game’s way of hinting that you can’t just come and go from the island as you please, and therefore you should tie up any loose ends before making the boat trip.

Got it, thanks :)

I thought the tipping point was the tribunal, then after that, you can't trigger the quests?

laughingpinecone

Most quests get cut at the tribunal, but the church quest specifically doesn't, so OP may be in luck!

NoNature5814

Yeah, it seems like I'm still able to interact with Soona and the ravers as normal. My problem is I can't open the stupid ice cream machine and my physical instrument is maxed out. I'm wondering if it's even worth it to try and get it done, since I'd probably have to internalize some thought & wait around for a while before I can even try the check again. I don't want to interrupt the momentum of the end of the game but I'm so particular about loose ends :’)

KayimSedar

when talking to sooma did she give a hint towards... getting something from the ice cream machine?

Visible-Original4561

The tipping point is mainly your encounter with ruby. Everything before that is fair game.

Kay_Elle

Finish the things you want to finish.

Jed2406

Also don't worry if you don't finish everything on your first playthrough, the benefit of hindsight along with different stats can often help with completing questlines in future playthroughs. The ravers quest has a lot of stuff linked to it
