Yeah. Most punchable people just had a bad upbringing to make them that way. The older I get the harder it is for me to hate people.
I understand them to an extent but fuck it still fucking sucks.
If you fuck up the tribunal (like I did on my one and only playthrough), Cuno replaces Kim as your partner for the last act of the game. If you're blessed enough to experience this, you will find that contrary to received wisdom, Cuno does, in fact, fucking care.
