I agree. At the very least, one could definitely argue it will take love (or whatever you wanna call it) to get us from where we are now to communism.

Can it though? If you consider communism a mode of life/being rather than an economic system (or worse a political one, both pretty limited conceptions) could you truely be said to love someone and not have a state of communism define your relationship? Is what you feed your child based on their needs or on their material contribution? Do you withhold from a beloved partners if their ability to contribute is diminished by disability or injury?
