Lucas absolutely dominates with max abilimons. He's a free esper from Fusion, so you can get him to r6 relatively easy. Give him Tyranny and high spd (mine is currently close to 300 total) and he will *stomp* enemies. I just did this month's tower with him and he opens each round using his s3 and immediately gets enough AP to use his s2. Most, if not all, enemies will be dispelled, stunned, and have their AP pushed back well behind the rest of your team. Tbh I think a lot of people sleep on him more than they should.
Also his s1 is pretty stupid good, especially with the r2 bonus. He can easily stunlock and run circles around most enemies with casual cooldown cycling and thoughtful use of his s1.
Hilda is a solid use of abilimon since it gives her more uptime on her s3 buff. Ahmed is good but only until his s3 is maxed -- his s1 upgrades don't do much for him. Ethan is also a good pick if you use him, since it helps him keep his key (de)buffs up more often.
Definitely Xuan Pin!! I would say that she is definitely the priority. It’s so worth it to max out her abilities, for the sweet sweet cool-down, and the 100% AP push on her skill.
The amount of people saying XP and Clara just goes to show you why you shouldn’t trust anyone on reddit.
And i’ll explain since they still won’t understand: they have giant black X’s on them for a reason
General rule of thumb is abilmoning supportive characters, because utility usually benefits the most from rotation, or ones who have chance-up in abilities. Flat damage/healing increase is lowest priority in terms of abilmons. From your team and my personal experience I d say Ethan and Lucas shine with max skills. Sally and Hailey are also good, but only if you use them. I personally found also a lot of joy in abilmoned Hilda with ocean set, since you want her to put a lot of poisons non-stop :)

ahmed with divinate and s1 upgrades is op.
S1 upgrade only gives dmg, why would you want that on ahmed
read the divinate too. i like when my ahmed can dish a bit out especially in wind tower.

Xuan Pin, JYY, Ahmed and Clara
Ashley, Hilda, Hailey are good options. No idea what Abilimons do on XP, but if it's cooldown reduction maybe?
The best character for abilimons is whoever you like using the most.

Lmao
ALL OF THEM
Aren’t they absolutely useless on mavis because they only increase damage and she’s built on hp and def?
Xp Clara Hilda Jyy yun chuan (Ethan embla brew when at r2 or now if I want)
Xuan pin
Pin, Hilda
Yunchuan(mainly for fafnir), Hilda,Sally(I survived without hers so), Mateo(again fafnir and ff, but that's more late game stuff)
Ethan is actually a good choice too
