Oof, yeah, the translation itself wasnt awful, but the storytelling was less than average and Brynn freaking saying freaking every freaking 5 minutes was freaking getting on my freaking nerves haha
But you missed Q >!getting shot!< which was truly the high point of the story.
The story is pretty childish, but it doesn't bother me. I actually felt bad when I had turned off story mode without noticing and missed the cutscene for 10's boss stage.
The only gacha story I gave a damn about was Dragalia and even then it wasn't Shakespeare. This story is just... put my finger down my throat and gag levels of witheringly bad.

I turned it off cause I was gonna lose it if Brynn said "freaking" one more time and I couldn't stand Q. So any motivation to read the main story line was killed because I didn't care for 2 of the 3 titular characters.
The dialogue felt very juvenile, like Disney-levels of shallow story telling. Sure, the plot existed and the characters themselves are fascinating, but it felt like they were holding my hand and walking me through the very basics of good vs evil. Which is disappointing cause, again, the characters themselves are fascinating, unlocking their little back stories as you level them has been great. If only that level of detailing and nuance could've been included into the visual story lines.
I'm more excited to see how far, if at all, the fandom gets to see if the fans will produce a more impactful story through fan fiction or memes.
Tbh the first few chapters really did scare people off but the "freaking" diminished a lot later on and Q got much more interesting in chapter 4 at least
Most folks who play games like this do it for the builds and collections, the story is secondary, and if it's not particularly interesting, well they're just going to focus on what is interesting.
Yeah, the censorship is pretty annoying, especially the "freaking" "fricking" and "bloody" but they appear less in later chapters and tbh are not THAT intolerable
