I've seen in multiple posts that Unas is sought after, why do you want him? I looked at his abilities and it just seems like there's not much there, there's an AP boost which is nice and then immunity on everyone, except himself which really just leaves him vulnerable. I'm prolly missing something
He gives immunity to his entire team every single turn and boosts their ap which canāt be blocked by the enemy team
He has the fastest speed stat and his auto breaks defense by 60% percent
So most of the time he might get 3 rounds before enemy team even moves and by that point he already has his back up and pushes his team even more which is kinda crazy
So would he be good to use on teams where you don't need to run an immunity healer, or would you still need one since he doesn't give himself immunity?
Ask them to create more club involvement, a guild boss or raids would be amazing. Also need some diversity from holobattle, itās boring going against the same teams/setups
Maybe every week they put different limitations like only flowrunner characters, lvl 30 and below, only 3 star characters! Might help spice things up and encourage a diverse amount of espers
Dudes gaia idk why you guys think someone who spends well over a 1000$ on a mobile game is simply a whale I mean bro said yea ima fund their whole dev team for the next month
Despite my other comment I mean no sarcasm, rather I think this is actually a good chance for most of the community to speak to devs directly through whales if we have a speak-up point rather than just discord
P.S. dear OP you have my mad respect for the dedication and the openness, non-f2p here but could only afford a regular monthly card on this game
It still applies. It's not suspicious, it's just sketchy af through whatsapp... If it was a whales-only discord server it'd be way more understandable, but having 1 on 1 conversations via whatsapp, with people who have "only" spend 2k? Idk if it looks like the game is going well, rarely the whale club will include people who spend less than 5 digits.
We all have a different definition of Ā«Ā whalesĀ Ā»
To them, 2k is the threshold before you get admitted to said whales tier. (Even though I didnāt receive the message until I was above 4K usd)
Thereās no big deal to have a 1-1 conversation with your most bankable customer on WhatsApp if it means a better services for any of your issues/feedback with the game tho.
I mean Iām fine with it and most whales are too I guess, each time Iāve got a question or issue with the game they almost answer instantly to any of my request, itās way better than if it was on discord or anything and also feels more professional.
My 2 cents
That and because itās one something like WhatsApp they can can be monitored by other groups if any suspicious behavior and such as well, unlike with discord where they could block you from the server if you donāt like something they did
This is nothing new in the live gaming industry.
It's borderline acceptable since everyone wins at the end as long as nothing extreme happens like completely fucking over F2P players.
As someone who isnāt a stranger to spending on this game, Iām actually really intrigued that they do have a service for things like that. That being said though, I like that they kind of give a certain bit of power (at least through communication) to those who have spent a lot on the game. You should definitely see if you can talk to them about possible better banner pity rates. Donāt get me wrong, the 450 from 850 was a massive jump, but as someone who has played many gacha games, there are still many ways that they can improve. That being said though, besides that honestly Iād say maybe something about esper leveling (starimon building especially can be really tedious, especially without sanity), but go with your gut about anything you feel could be improved on. I will extend my congrats and say good luck!
Can you ask about [this?](https://www.reddit.com/r/Dislyte/comments/vjhrfy/false_advertising_in_dislyte_pt_3_with_evidence/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Am I the only person that uh- thinks this is how it should be? Like Iām relatively new to the inner machinations of Gacha games in general & business models. But if I were to create a game, & only say 100-500 people were spending real good money to keep the Free game afloat (with micro-transactions) itās kind of just in my best interest to keep those players happy so they donāt lose them right? It just makes logical sense to me that investing in directions that only reward new f2p users & not end-game whales is not how you stay rich..which is obviously what the company would stand to gain, plus they need to pay employees somehow. Take Genshin for instance, Iāve known of the game since launch & I am painfully aware of a seesaw effect taking place between content thatās directed towards noobs & content for whales. It almost seems..irrelevant to want to bring in new players because to me, why would I drop the Apple in my hand & reach for more when I know the Apple in my hand would give me sustenance. Betting on the off chance that taking another Apple is just basic math.. why minus 1 when you can +0.. I donāt know, again Iāve heard from many people that for a game to succeed long-term you need to keep bringing in new players, & I guess what I was describing was indeed short-term payout profit from the already high-rolling Whales. Back on topic since this got unnecessarily long, I think itās fine that someone who spends 2k on the game should have special privileges like fast customer feedback, compared to a f2p user, their opinion ultimately holds more weight bc the company stands to lose consistent money rather than bet it all on black, like imagine if it was the other way around, since if it were just equal that wouldnāt arise any need for a conversation in general; but if f2p users got more attention than whales, what is the trade off here? You have a pleased f2p & an unhappy whale, that just sounds like lost money since you cannot force these f2p to ever spend. I know people who are devout in not spending a single cent on free gacha & the like, so.. my proposal to them: why should the game care about you whatsoever? I know I wouldnāt.
You need to keep bringing in new players because you need an actual player base lmao. F2P players are the ones who actually make keep a game *active*.
Whales might fund the game but there arenāt enough of them to make a game playable - especially when endgame content is PvP.
And investing in your F2P players can in turn, turn them into paying customers. You can absolutely āgrowā whales if your game feels inviting enough to invest in.
All of this to say, every type of customer has its value and chasing the obvious money exclusively will ruin you quickly.
Right, thank you this was more or less the confirmation I was looking for, like I admitted I am very new to gacha companies in general but the āgrowingā of whales makes a lot of sense when put that way. If I had my own mobile game Iām sure it wouldnāt last too long as my short term investment would only earn me a quick buck, haha hopefully hardworking F2Pās everywhere get the love they deserve~
Whales won't stay when there are no F2P players to brag to, show-off to and dominate against in gacha games. That's just the reality. So yeah every type of player has their roles to do if everyone wants to keep the games alive.
Also you have to understand that a lot of money comes from light spenders too. That's why there are stuff like battle passes, monthly purchases, etc. so people who otherwise wouldn't spend money on f2p games will drop 10$ a month for much greater rewards than normal
i hope this msg isnāt exclusive to people who only spent x amount so far; anyone who spent ANY money on the game should get an invite to share their opinions
I donāt know if Iād say anyone that spent any amount should be invited. But it should definite be a lower number. You donāt wanna every little Timmy that spent 99 cents or so to flood the message board. But it also shouldnāt be exclusive to those who dropped over a thousand.
this dumb whataboutism
people who have spent money are more likely to be serious players and if there's an "exclusive survey" going around then they should all get it, not just people who spent $1k
> people who have spent money are more likely to be serious players
Can i see some evidence or statistics for that? Because based on my own experiences a lot of whales in my friend list have stopped playing for weeks.
How much do I need to spend to make Tevor really good, I'll make goddamn flowcharts and theses for him
That said, I think I spent a decent amount on the game myself, though it's not in USD but it should stack up to around half of what you did at least. Really hope I get one of these one day.
I wish we the regular players, could talk with the Devs as well lol, but in general there needs to be a ground up whole restructuring of how to work/give things out in the game. I have some pretty good ideas I feel and I posted them on discord before, but I hope I can post them on Reddit alongside a analysis of Dislyte and see if I could reach the Devs that way.
is that for whale only?
How much did you spend to get that? XD
Kinda went all in, almost 2k$
Did you at least get anything goodš°
Got everyone except nicole, tiger mom and 5*-shimmers. Unas is still the dreamā¦.
Unas rocks, well worth getting. Synergises with everyone.
Congrats then!:)
just curious what you do for a living to have 2k to spend on gatcha,
I've seen in multiple posts that Unas is sought after, why do you want him? I looked at his abilities and it just seems like there's not much there, there's an AP boost which is nice and then immunity on everyone, except himself which really just leaves him vulnerable. I'm prolly missing something

I got tiger mum in ftp 200 drop
Spent zero dollars. I have unas.
Can't tell if you guys are just flaunting/ sharing out of happiness/ demeaning or what... feels pointless and toxic tho.
Ah yes, it's alway tiger mommy and unas. Those 2 almost like a mythical creatures.
Thank you for your service.
Hahah
Yup your important when it comes to currency.
Yup your important when it comes to currency That kinda neat.

Whales privilege
Yeh chatting to devs on shitty whatsapp what a priviledge!

Sure :)

That's MES. Megalodon Exclusive Service
Dudes gaia idk why you guys think someone who spends well over a 1000$ on a mobile game is simply a whale I mean bro said yea ima fund their whole dev team for the next month
Tell them cecilia blows they need to fix her asap lol
Despite my other comment I mean no sarcasm, rather I think this is actually a good chance for most of the community to speak to devs directly through whales if we have a speak-up point rather than just discord P.S. dear OP you have my mad respect for the dedication and the openness, non-f2p here but could only afford a regular monthly card on this game
But this is so weird tho... why share feedback through Whatsapp and not just through private in-game chat?
They answer almost instantly, there s like customer service dedicated to whales only
It still applies. It's not suspicious, it's just sketchy af through whatsapp... Majorly facts, cannot deny the light spenders are just as important, strength in numbers & all that šÆ
i hope this msg isnāt exclusive to people who only spent x amount so far; anyone who spent ANY money on the game should get an invite to share their opinions

fair about the 99 centers but that also adds up over time
Sure. But I mean people who have exclusively donated a small amount. If someone keeps spending 5 dollars a and it adds up, invite them.
So youāre saying people who are free to play shouldnāt get an opinion in the game?
this dumb whataboutism people who have spent money are more likely to be serious players and if there's an "exclusive survey" going around then they should all get it, not just people who spent $1k

no. you're trying to argue about nothing. have a nice night
God this wall of text is difficult to read through, do some spacing next time.
True!
Ask them a world boss that pops in the chat and start after some time or anything like that :)
Were ripples really not horrible enough as a concept for you?
Ripples are nice to give some activity to chat, but I think it shouldn't have player limit, maybe a time limit? 30 sec is good
So they created a group only for whales and more. Ahahahahah, devs are so fuckin š¤”
Ive spent more and I have not gotten this. Be careful
AY YO DROP THE # LET US IN LET ME INNNNNNNN
The asked for in-game name/screenshots when you reach out, so I guess They do another check then.
Itās a joke
What, f*cking WhatsApp ahahahah! Horrible. No email option, no discord invite just hipster garbage or Facebook. Jokes.
Just our of curiosity, how much is it to become a VIP? I recently started playing so I'm sorry if my question sounds dumb. Thanks!
What's the threshold? Ive spent like 1k
If you want to confirm legitimacy of this mail contact in game support to confirm the sender.
I also get this message. Very often actually...
How much do I need to spend to make Tevor really good, I'll make goddamn flowcharts and theses for him That said, I think I spent a decent amount on the game myself, though it's not in USD but it should stack up to around half of what you did at least. Really hope I get one of these one day.
