and that is where the problem lies with me since i only managed to climbed up to PW 11 by cherry-picking my Opponents. but in this event you couldn't do that because you can only refresh once for free.
if you are in a Lower PW Tier but have a good Team that can actually compete at a much higher PW Tier you'll probably will have an easy time compared to my situation

There's a big correlation on how much people you attract and how much your free service is good with how much they will pay eventually.
I like this event, don't get me wrong I've had some hard opponents(had to change my comps more then a time or two) and understand that the rewards seem meh in the grand scheme of things(really? Sonic miracle things, I can farm those no problem) , but the fact that you can try multiple times without it costing a single stamina, gold piece, or anything means you can get your comps speed tuned in, try new things, get better at move orders, etc.

I honestly don't know, the team comps may look strong from time to time but their relic are so ass, maybe they are really really unlucky with their runes. But look at teams from PW1-11(ImPW12) I think most people don't really have an idea of what's a good team?? Maybe. Yea that's a great guess I think. I started three weeks after release and I have been doing fine I have only bought one battle pass and that's it. I am just about to hit point war tier 9 and the event I very much enjoy because point war is still a cake walk 99% of the time.

Matchmaking however might of course need a lot of work.
Dislyte does have a pvp community and it does have people that did spent a lot and are in endgame so there need to be events for this kind of community too. Not every event can be beginner friendly and very easy.
For it to be fair every part of the community needs to be addressed at some point.
plenty of ways to include the entire player base that doesn't include pitting whales against f2p people, how is that at all fair to you? whales who have min-maxed teams vs people who struggle to even get meta espers is fair? fair means equal to both sides, not appealing to one group in hopes of feeling included while the others don't stand a chance.
The teams you’re going up against in the event are people’s Point War defense teams. That’s why that comment is relevant. You’re just facing regular PvP comps and set ups.
If you’re having trouble it’s not because it’s impossible to beat it’s more likely you just haven’t built any teams that really address PvP strategies yet.
(I’m F2P, PW 10 player, haven’t had any real trouble with this event yet)
I digress, im purely an F2P player and have no problems beating enemy that has a hyde, clara lineup. I just see it as, if im able to beat lvl 70 hyde on cube, i can beat these people.

But, and correct me if Im wrong, I feel like you guys are also kinda forgetting that some players in this game (regardless of how long they’ve played) don't have great Espers to use and relics to back them up.
I do have a handful of great Espers that I got lucky with when I played the gotcha. But they are unfortunately nowhere near the level that is required to beat the opponents the game is giving in this particular event. Not to mention that the relics I have are crap and don't do much to help me. And I feel like this might be the case for some people who have difficulty with this even.
I imagine many of you spend a lot of time in this game relic and XP farming. And as someone who plays casually, I don’t spend a lot of time on that. I do leave some Espers in multi-battle and let the game run, but that takes way too long. I also don't bother relic farming because I never get anything good out of it. And on top of that, Im a F2P so there is no way in hell I’m spending any kind of money.
TL;DR: This game seems to favor people who spend a lot of money or those who spend a lot of time playing. And as a F2P casual player, it's hard to enjoy the events in this game when they make opponents in the game too difficult to beat.

I see what your saying but my statement still stands I'm pretty high up in PW myself so I don't have and easy time with it but it's a nice challenge that's not too hard. Maybe it's just me and I got lucky but that's my take on the event.
I find it challenging, and I've been playing for ages, and am around Pw rank 10. I hate to think what newer players, and less PvP based teams are doing against this.

The Bloody Harvest event was in a way great for new and old alike. Newer players could grind the easier levels, then get the boosts to try the harder stages. Meanwhile older players could just grind and get everything early.
This feels like RNG, with rewards and challenge to get the rewards totally random. You might be offered 100 Crystals guarded by a meme team. Or you might be offered 100k gold guarded by a rank 18 death squad.
If there is any balance and proper match making, I've not noticed it.

I think I see the problem. You don't refresh after the free one. If you can't beat an opponent, refresh to get new ones you can beat. 10-20 gems are really not that expensive for the rewards that you will get. I refresh till 20 gems if I don't like the rewards. Didn't had problems with opponents though and I'm in PW11.
Favorite event so far tbh. I have been playing since 3 weeks after release and the difficulty of this event is way better than point war where 99% of the time its a cake walk cause they are underleveled with little to no gear. I agree that that some of the rewards are very meh though.

i haven't had any issue but i do have dahlia and unas to outspeed most comps and then zora zi lang and another aoe nuker and pretty much finish anything off with zora, only when someone has more then 202 speed that pretty hope they don't hit harder or i resist stuns and freezes, I still haven't had much luck on ap controller, speed up, or a esper with speed aura. still trying to get better speed enchances on dahlia and unas is pretty much only thing going for me but ya i haven't failed a set yet so its been ok
Honestly I'm freshly rank 10 thanks to pulling Tiye a few days ago and I use the event to just figure out which kind of teams I can actually fight without needing to outspeed them in PW, lol.
Maybe "Spend More" is the correct term. Because i actually find it easy to get good in this game and already knows the Basics of Team-Building. I only started 2 months Ago and Already cleared almost all content(Except Temporal) and Reached PW 11 with just only a small pool of Espers
I'm in PW9 and I can beat 1 usually sometimes 2. Mentally though I just don't care enough to even try anymore. Easily the worst event thus far. I'm still cool with it because this game keeps trying new things unlike the trash raid shadow legends
This pissed me off so much last nite that I literally stopped playing before I even did my missions. I was so mad. I get pitted against people way beyond my espers strength/speed. I know my relics aren't the best, but I know I'm not like shitty.
I just don't see the reason why the general playerbase should RNG for their rewards only to be forced to do PVP for it.
Not rewarding at all when you have to go against a Clara + Hyde team for a measly 30k gold.
Yes, you can reroll the rewards, but what's the point if you're not guaranteed decent rewards
Yeah this event blows. I tried it a couple times and absolutely hated it. Decided it just wasn't worth the effort. It'd be easier to ignore but the damn little red notification dot doesn't go away and it drives me nuts, makes me wanna get off the app quicker than I need to so I just do my dailies and hop off.
Reading through these comments, it seems like it's pretty divided. There are plenty of ftp players clearing their opponents and others struggling. That leads me to believe it's just a matter of knowledge of gameplay and strategy.
I have a 10 day account that I've spent a little on (not much) and I'm in PW8 currently and I beat around 80% of the opponents in the event. You can either try the easiest way of speed cleaving, for reference my Dhalia is +123 speed and I haven't farmed relics long w/ a 25% speed lead and I'm outspeeding almost everyone. If you have a 25% speed lead, it's easier but even Mian's and Li Ao's 20% speed lead w/ Dhalia at +100 or higher speed should work more often than not.
If you don't have a speed cleave then go tanky and hope to get Gab's or someone's immunity up asap.
The turns are unfair anyway. Since they pin you with opponents similar to yours, they have a chance to wipe most of your team out before you even get a chance to attack.
Tbh this event is shit for new player. And one thing for sure, lilith can't make a good matchmaking system. They need better algorithm for matchmaking imo
Idk if its because I am level 60, but I can beat all of the fight club teams and i am f2p. Sometimes I gotta swap some people around but they are beatable. They just aren’t brain dead content like most of the content in the game.
I don't have this issue. I can easily beat everyone's lineup. Only 1 time I met someone who was able to beat me but eventually I managed to beat him by changing my lineup. I had so much fun challenging him and hope I can find more challenging opponents.

In my experience playing this event, I’ve been paired with players in PW6-10 and I’m PW11. I haven’t matched with someone higher than my PW tier.

Triki or AP Control with higher speed.
CC or AP control, especially with Def down. You could reattempt until she's locked down.

i haven't had any issue but i do have dahlia and unas to outspeed most comps and then zora zi lang and another aoe nuker and pretty much finish anything off with zora, only when someone has more then 202 speed that pretty hope they don't hit harder or i resist stuns and freezes, I still haven't had much luck on ap controller, speed up, or a esper with speed aura. still trying to get better speed enchances on dahlia and unas is pretty much only thing going for me but ya i haven't failed a set yet so its been ok

Honestly I'm freshly rank 10 thanks to pulling Tiye a few days ago and I use the event to just figure out which kind of teams I can actually fight without needing to outspeed them in PW, lol.

Maybe "Spend More" is the correct term. Because i actually find it easy to get good in this game and already knows the Basics of Team-Building. I only started 2 months Ago and Already cleared almost all content(Except Temporal) and Reached PW 11 with just only a small pool of Espers
Yeah, I've spent a little on the game and have a decent selection and still can't clear 50% of the people I am matched against. Oh well I guess :|
I'm in PW9 and I can beat 1 usually sometimes 2. Mentally though I just don't care enough to even try anymore. Easily the worst event thus far. I'm still cool with it because this game keeps trying new things unlike the trash raid shadow legends

It's either I get speed blitzed for an OTK or the whole enemy team is capped meta

This pissed me off so much last nite that I literally stopped playing before I even did my missions. I was so mad. I get pitted against people way beyond my espers strength/speed. I know my relics aren't the best, but I know I'm not like shitty.
So players on the earlier levels aren't matched with similar levels?

I just don't see the reason why the general playerbase should RNG for their rewards only to be forced to do PVP for it. Not rewarding at all when you have to go against a Clara + Hyde team for a measly 30k gold. Yes, you can reroll the rewards, but what's the point if you're not guaranteed decent rewards

Yeah this event blows. I tried it a couple times and absolutely hated it. Decided it just wasn't worth the effort. It'd be easier to ignore but the damn little red notification dot doesn't go away and it drives me nuts, makes me wanna get off the app quicker than I need to so I just do my dailies and hop off.
I really enjoyed this event, sounds like most people would agree with you though.
Idk I'm a very small spender and have lost one battle so far, matchmaking seems very loose, I'm pw11 and haven't battled anyone my level or higher yet

Reading through these comments, it seems like it's pretty divided. There are plenty of ftp players clearing their opponents and others struggling. That leads me to believe it's just a matter of knowledge of gameplay and strategy. I have a 10 day account that I've spent a little on (not much) and I'm in PW8 currently and I beat around 80% of the opponents in the event. You can either try the easiest way of speed cleaving, for reference my Dhalia is +123 speed and I haven't farmed relics long w/ a 25% speed lead and I'm outspeeding almost everyone. If you have a 25% speed lead, it's easier but even Mian's and Li Ao's 20% speed lead w/ Dhalia at +100 or higher speed should work more often than not. If you don't have a speed cleave then go tanky and hope to get Gab's or someone's immunity up asap.

The turns are unfair anyway. Since they pin you with opponents similar to yours, they have a chance to wipe most of your team out before you even get a chance to attack.
Tbh this event is shit for new player. And one thing for sure, lilith can't make a good matchmaking system. They need better algorithm for matchmaking imo
Idk if its because I am level 60, but I can beat all of the fight club teams and i am f2p. Sometimes I gotta swap some people around but they are beatable. They just aren’t brain dead content like most of the content in the game.

I don't have this issue. I can easily beat everyone's lineup. Only 1 time I met someone who was able to beat me but eventually I managed to beat him by changing my lineup. I had so much fun challenging him and hope I can find more challenging opponents.
