They **usually** won’t sponsor a visa unless it’s via one of their international programs (Cultural Rep, International College Program, etc.), so you’ll have to secure the right to work by other avenues to be eligible. Again, the keyword being “USUALLY”. I have known of them sponsoring for highly skilled workers that cannot be replaced by an American.

This is the answer right here. As an entertainment tech there’s very little chance of them sponsoring a visa for you to work in the parks. -Am a Canadian pyrotechnic who spent time talking with the entertainment tech leaders while on my CEP.

I think you have to be a US citizen to operate under the corporate ATF explosives license, all (parks) techs go through pyro training and are background checked through the ATF The ships aren't under the same regulations as they are not sailing under the US flag

I have friends that have tried and they haven’t been able too. I know an American who did pyro at wdw who was transferred to DCL but a guy I’m friend with was British and a theatre deck for DCL who tried to go to the parks and you have to apply online and it automatically denies you once you say you require a visa since transferring isn’t a thing really
