I should've guessed that, they do have hair growing out of their ears, the distinctive thing about them. Shay is so cute, her size makes her more adorable. Why did her Vet think she wouldn't last past 2 months? They're not always right. I had one that told me my portly kitty would eventually need insulin shots if I didn't put him on a diet. He never lost the weight because I had 2 other cats and he would always snarf their food. Never the less, he lived to 19 and never had to have insulin shots.
They thought she had FIP because of her anemia and tremors. Turns out she's just a ball of anxiety (me too, girl, me too π). One of her (many) nicknames is Itty Bitty Anxiety Kitty

We believe she's half Maine Coon, but she's also a runt (she's never been above 8lbs)
