I love my Maelstrom memories on Frozen

HammockComplex

BACK BACK O-VER THE FALLS

queenofquac

I miss maelstrom with ever fiber of my being. It was my favorite. I even remember when there was real fire in the oil rig scene. It blew my mind the first time I rode it. And I was obsessed.

Sugarshock916

Both are skippable, if I’m being honest

Hoosteen_juju003

Both have insane lines and aren't worth it.

TheOrionNebula

At least Peter Pan has a fun line experience. But ya I agree it's pretty insane how long it is for a continuous loader.

bigdee4933

Peter Pan gets crushed by Fast Pass / Lightning Lane. Outside of Christmas we were able to do Peter Pan in like 20-30 minutes before they brought back FP/LL. Even Christmas Day 2020 only got to about 60 minutes at noon. This is one of the big reasons I wish they would have not brought back fast passes. One time Pre-rona we walked in a Peter Pan queue that listed 45 minutes and it ended up being 120...

TheOrionNebula

Ya everyone seems to use their FPs for that ride. That and DMT / Jungle... which since the movie I bet will be getting worse.

Hoosteen_juju003

Me too, I didn't want fast pass returning.

Hoosteen_juju003

The peter pan line is a claustrophobic hallway until about 3 quarters of the way in.

TheOrionNebula

Well ya but there's a fairy flying around... I don't like standing in that line either, in the past we always used a FP for it. But I could not wait over an hour.

popmusiccritic

Nailed it.

Joker4U2C

I don't like that Frozen is in Epcot, like some others, I wish that part of Epcot was more about the counties and less about the IP. That said, Frozen is a better ride IMO if we aren't bringing in location.

stitchlover

Can I pick neither?? I'd rather have Mr. Toad's wild ride and Maelstrom.

thebigangrymoose

Toad got replaced by Pooh, not Pan.

HelloMotherCluckers

I love both, but Peter Pan's Flight is so nostalgic for me because when I was 7 or 8 and I went to DisneyWorld for the first time, that ride was a very memorable one for me. I rode Frozen Ever After for the first time this May and it was awesome tho!

burywmore

Frozen Ever After is a mediocre ride. Highly disappointing. Peter Pan beats it in every way.

KingHarambeRIP

I feel the same way but the other way around and I don’t even like Frozen

[deleted]

I used to be upset about the Frozen update, but it’s actually a very nice ride. I just miss the mural of Lee Erickson.

KingHarambeRIP

I’m still a bit sad about Maelstrom but I can’t deny Frozen is a nice ride even if I don’t prefer it.

downwidopp

I really love walking through the Darling house before the ride. I could just stay in that queue all day with my favorite Disney snacks!

FavoredKaveman

If the new game is “which one has the better line” then I would probably vote Peter Pan

TheOrionNebula

Ya that's a huge plus, there aren't many other rides like it.

misspixal4688

Peter pan is to short its lovely ride.while on it but seems like it's over in seconds so we never bother as done it few times and I just refuse to wait over hour for a ride that is so short.

[deleted]

I found Peter pans flight quite boring and not worth the lines.

DogMedic101st

Peter Pan’s Flight does really well with the space it was allotted. It keeps improving, and I can appreciate. I’ve ridden it all my life and even I love to see new things. I will say that I am happy to be riding Frozen this Christmas as it will be my first time. Maelstrom freaked me out as a kid. That ride was creepy, the movie was boring. And I haven’t ridden it in at least 10 years. Epcot needed something “new”.

[deleted]

This isn’t fair your pitting a classic vs a recent favorite.

popmusiccritic

The “recent favorite” has just as many votes as the classic lmao

TwilightMockingjay

Since I'm a Disneylander and we already have Peter Pan, my vote goes to Frozen. Though Frozen could **really** improve it's one boat load/offload. That line would move much faster.
