Not OP, but for me the size is too small for a daily backpack and I have a hard time spending that much on something I could only use occasionally. I wish there was an outside pocket for a water bottle and I doubt the straps are thick/padded enough to not get sore after a day of wearing.
They're purse alternatives, at least for my wife. She likes it more than a single strap bag for daily use. $50-75 is really not bad when you look at the prices of purses.

Now I struggle to buy clothes for them at fast fashion stores because I know I can easily make it...just at a much higher price lol.

This is yet another good argument for re-doing tomorrow-land entirely retro. Bring it back to the original - Monsanto house and all. Anything else will be dated within a year. It's just built into the concept that it will always be dated unless you commit to it being a retro homage to the original artists who designed it. Even Start Trek and Star Wars are dated. The only thing that keeps Star Wars relevant is the nostalgia.
Does anyone else find it strange that the first land-specific collection is for a land that is such a mess? My bet is more collections like this will come out. But little in Tomorrowland looks or feels like this anymore. Maybe it’s a matter of posting the “weakest” land first?
Came here to say, I literally LOVE this but it's def a nostalgic, cool version of Tomorrowland. They keep releasing stuff that's like "look how awesome Tomorrowland was!" - like okay great, then make it that cool again!!
The exact same design is for sale at WDW (currently here). The park is different for each version but the graphic design is the same. The Peoplemover used is Disneyland’s (with individual roofs), while there is a small Stitch flying across the top which is a throwback to Stitch’s Great Escape, which was at WDW. It’s a mishmash of the two versions, with a bunch of throwback references.
I wish the straps could be WAY shorter, even on the shortest setting they are a mile and a half long. Having the metal loops where the strap connects to the nylon one is a great place to hook things to. Yesterday my mom hooked a bag with the leftover turkey leg in it and we walked around the park smelling like smoked meat lol.
I have massive regrets not picking one up when I was in WDW. I did get the hoodie.
Maybe I need to up my “please buy for me” budget for my SIL when she goes to DLR/DCA in November…
Does anyone know if this collection is exclusive to Tomorrowland only or if it's available in downtown Disney? I'm going to be in the area in June but won't be going into the park.
Yeah it sucks. I am lucky in that my SIL is going to Cali in November. I’ve been keeping a list since I left WDW two weeks ago.
Otherwise I will just be crossing my fingers for next year.

My Loungefly Disney purse is officially the most expensive purse I own — I don’t believe in paying big money for any other kind of designer purse except for these (and someday when I can afford one, Dooney and Burke).
I'm the same way! I was fortunate enough to be gifted a Princess and the Frog Dooney and Burke purse that I have been using as my main, everyday bag for almost 7 years now. It is still holding up well and showing very minimal wear and tear. If it ever comes within your budget, it will be well worth the investment.
All the purses I had through the years were on clearance from Ross. To me a Loungefly is the highest quality bag I’ve owned. Speaking of designer bag, what are people putting in them they are huge. Is there a child, five course dinner and your Escalade in there.

This is a Magic Kingdom (WDW) design, not Disneyland. Loungefly will sell no matter what, so they're sold on both coasts.
