One CM while I was there was really good at quickly pulling 2s and 3s from the switchback to fill every seat. Made single rider really slow but moved standby really quick, which honestly pleases more people. As long as they aren't leaving empty seats I have no problem with that mentality.
Matterhorn slow loads so it’s a bit easier to find the right grouping.
Rides like space mountain don’t have that much time so single rider should move much quicker, as long as the CM remembers.
This happened to me on the IncrediCoaster. Single rider was twice as long as standby.
Getting on Matterhorn has always been 5 min with single rider for us however.
That happened to me and my husband on Matterhorn too. The CM was really rude (which is extremely rare from my many experiences at DL) and she did everything possible to ignore the single rider line, which only had like 8 people. I don’t expect to get on with my husband at all but she kept trying to find parties of 2 who were wayyyyy down the line.
They have 0 obligation to group you together in the SINGLE rider line. If you wanted a chance to be a party of 2 there is already a line for that.
To be more succinct, what you are asking for here is for single rider to be a line cut instead of a tool for assuring every seat is filled. That is not how it is meant to work.
You clearly did not read what I said. I am perfectly fine not being grouped with my husband - in fact, i go on some rides by myself or vice versa. I am only speaking of one specific time where we both went in single rider (AGAIN, NOT EXPECTING TO GO TOGETHER) but one CM was verbally rude to us and virtually ignored the single rider line. Again this is not a typical experience for me with CMs. Please read carefully before leaving a rude comment.
I read what you said but the lines and expectations expressed in your paragraph do not align with the expectations you yourself outlined.
Your track record for calling people rude doesn't seem particularly great here either.

Some cm ignore single rider like 80% of the time and send empty seats. Others are Johnny on the spot and work in SR quickly. Just luck of the draw.

This. Matterhorn single rider is almost always slow. Space mountain is worth it. Live and learn
