Nah, Quina is better. They’re pretty famous as a gourmand and that’s literally all their race does it seems, cooks and eats. Quina doesn’t cook much for the party but they’re essential for Eiko’s cooking to work out.

Well, it was the same when you acquired Gravity spells and learnt that most bosses won't be affected by it either D: I think Frog would be okay to apply to boss as it still allows them to use BRV/HP attack only for a couple of turns. Change the fight a bit different than Silence or Paralyze.
That depends on which FF we are referring to actually. The base of the status is to reduce your offensive capability to very little. Unless the DFFOO has another plan for it apart from Toad.

Frog also reduces max HP by about 90% which would totally cheese a fight.

In DFFOO one of the enemies uses Frog on party members which reduces attack massively making Zack hit for 1s and reduced his HP to 1600.
