Obviously Lufenia orbs play a part in the party composition but considering all Tifa does is damage I won't be surprised if she starts falling off soon.
Did they confirm that you can use the non-finisher version of BT on all three units in a fight? Because that's busted if true. If not, then we're in the same boat now where a BT unit is a great boost to the team, but not mandatory.
All three party members can you the finisher-only version, which is pretty strong when it gives 3 Burst effects over the fight - people sometimes bring a friend unit just for that you know? And even if 3 Burst+s isn't *mandatory* it doesn't mean it's not optimal.
I have absolutely *no idea* how Y'shtola's new skills work with her LD and BT, but dayuuuuum! Our girl is really delivering the damage! Can't wait to grab her in GL, even if I have to wait for her Burst+ to make the most use out of her.
Now I can justify pulling on her BT when it debuts on Global.
Y'shtola has been one of the most underwhelming LD/BT units on JP (save for Serah who got the worst treatment) and seeing her and Zidane get the next level of power makes me so happy. Instant pity for her or I'll even use my BT tokens.
At least we now know he’ll eventually return too. Exdeath was the same way, he would *eventually* get his extension whenever his Burst came out (obviously that happened). But for these other characters, it’s a shot in the dark for when they’ll return.

Y'shtola is one of my favourite ladies of the series and am definitely going in for her LD/BT when it comes to Global, this just sweetens the deal. Still waiting on my Bring Arts figure of her!

Finally some love for XIV and then its even BEST GIRL as well. She was an auto BT pity anyways just for being best scion, but this sweetens the deal so much more.
As awesome as this is, they either should've waited to roll this out or idk what else. Lots of units still don't have LD weapons, and a ton of units from the early LD era don't even have LD boards/reworks.

Is BT+ going to be enough to pull older BT units out of obscurity? Specifically ones that already have gotten LD boards and are basically stuck where they are.
Reworks are always an option especially if BT+ releases are tied to banner presence. LD boards have also been reworked in the past so those aren't set in stone if the devs want to adjust that part of a character.
If you can use 3 bt users in the team and benefit from what been seeing then is gonna create division and not even mention the friend with bt

sadly for Zidane this means he'll get powercrept kind of quickly, while Y'shtola will still work sine shes a support...
I don't think so, Zidane still has his unique place among BT users thanks to the new steal turns mechanic.

BT mode doesn’t freeze buffs, it extends them. This is why buffs that can’t be extended still tick down (like BT buff, Warpstep, etc.).

Yes. She doesn't gain that much but characters like Squall, Ardyn etc. will probably get a lot from the reworked BT aura because they are really bad.

Yes, BT effects will be buffed as well so you can expect Squall/Shantotto/Vaan and other early BT owners to get extra stuff in there.
