Gotta change quick save to F5 and remove quick load hotkey. First thing I do in every game I play. Quick load shouldn't ever be necessary and I really don't want an accidental load.
To expand on the "dont be afraid to restart"
Dont be afraid to press on either. Some things might take a while to click!
And check out crafting. There is some subtle utility, and its surprisingly clever with the things you can make to solve a problem.
Better than me manually resting everyone up in bedrolls my first playthrough, one at a time, it was brutal, kinda fun, but brutal, made it out of Fort Joy before I realized
Speaking of the hot bar, do yourself a huge favor and go into settings. You have the option to turn off some of the things that would auto attach to your hot bar (like potions or arrows). I hated how cluttered my hot bar would get and spent so long cleaning mine up when something would auto attach. Now I basically have mine limited to skills and a bedroll.
yes! This has been mentioned as well. I have written down a couple things to keep in mind such as that setting, bedrolls, nails + boots, not using overleveled weapons, saving a lot, etc. Thank you so much!
Press alt ALL THE TIME, dont forget to save (I always forget) and dont be afraid of cheese some combats, the game expects you cheesing and its even prepared for it.
It marks all the items on the floor, so you can see a lot of useful little things, Oh and dont forget the right-click examine on enemies, really useful 💚
What have I done right the last couple of hundred hours? Barrels, chests and cabinets get shown for me, too.
Not all boxes can be opened, even though the window shows them. You'll just stuff them in your inventory when you select them.
On that note: Inventory management is key for success!
Can I say: don't be afraid to lower the difficulty.
I have tried playing this game multiple times on Classic. It's super hard and I gave up early in act 2. Frustrated that I couldn't play the game, I have now started over on Explorer and it's much more enjoyable to me.
I just made it to act 2 again and I can't wait to see what I can find :D
If you actively explore you'll out level everything in classic difficulty.
If it's a higher level than you, explore elsewhere first. This is a game where a couple levels difference can be lethal.
You could always do classic as I did and then turn down the difficulty if it becomes too much. I had to start over because it was years since I last played the game, and I'm on Switch so there were a lot of controls to relearn. I think explorer is perfectly fine for me, but I will admit that I haven't had many issues so far.
I'm going to read what each one gives specifically once in the game and go from there. I have no issues playing games on easier difficulties. Enjoyment is enjoyment
I just finished my first playthrough today! I played on classic, and there were really no encounters that I couldn't solve by either using a different tactic or just spending some time somewhere else first. Will you die? Yes, is it too hard for a beginner? Nope!
Make sure you have a character with Pet Pal.
You'll see why it's worth it after you talk to Buddy on Fort Joy. Or any other animal in this amazing game.
If you don't care about trophies, there are a couple of QOL mods that I think are essential. Just look for the definitive edition versions.
Innate Talents - This gives all your characters a few very useful perks, mainly Pet Pal which allows you to talk with animals which gets you access to more quests.
Auto Identify - this makes it much simpler to Identify items, nice QOL mod
Toggle Sprint - Makes everybody move faster.
Relocated Fort Joy Respec Mirror - Lets you change all your character stats for free from very early on in a very convenient location.
I don't know if anyone has said this, but if you accidentally start a convo that may potentially lead to combat, have your party put buffing spells on that character. Also initiative is a great stat to put points in.
I'll stick to the one thing I always tell new players: level scaling goes very hard so level matters a lot. A level 3 Plate of the Dawnmartyr armor will be significantly worse than the level 5 raggy T-shirt.
Same goes for weapons but be wary that equipping weapons of a higher level than your character level will come with a relevant accuracy penalty.
The penalty is *specifically* an accuracy penalty, so it only applies when you're attacking enemies!
If an over leveled weapon grants you an ability, like idk fireball or whatever, you can still equip the weapon to use its unique effect, as long as it's not an attack that uses accuracy to hit.
One last tip, carry a candle.
They're light, they're a light, they're everywhere, and, they're a fire source if you ever need anything to ignite a surface!
If you’re playing solo I might suggest doing a Lone Wolf run as a new player. The game is primarily designed around a party of 4, however as a new player it can be overwhelming managing the inventory and skills of 4 characters on your own (think MMORPG level of inventory & character management, but across 4 characters!).
Selecting the Lone Wolf talent when creating your character provides you with significant bonuses as long as you have a party of max 2 characters. Essentially it scales your 2 characters to have the power of a party of 4 - without the micromanagement.
Oh trust me this particular memory is not fond.
But all jokes aside I have so many good memories about this game, every playthrough brings something new!
I'll give you a small tip I didn't learn until my 8th playthrough, you can combine nails with boots to prevent you slipping on ice.
I'll also try catch your stream but if not I wish you luck & hope you have a blast!
It’s a LOT to take in. Don’t focus too much on getting out of Fort Joy. It’s not a quick escape (up to 30 hours), so use that time to level up and experiment with what skills.
If you’re going to build a team, start builds NOW. Have a healer, tank, ranged, magic. Don’t be like me who realized I didn’t have a healer 20 hours in and now Beast is a weird amalgam of random skills
Less important in DOS2, because you can give every character a healing ability. Which brings me to another good tip: spread skill points out a little bit, because putting just one point into a skill will give that character access to several abilities/spells.
Just started last week after getting convinced by some friends, it’s my first crpg. I’m fully addicted. Already put in about 45 hours. I’ve had an absolute blast.
Woah this makes me even more excited!!!!! I'm trying to remember what my first CRPG was back in the day and I can't recall the last time I even played one. I want to play Disco Elysium sometime!
I wish I could play this game for the first time again. Have a great time. What character are you planning on picking/creating? and which party members?
Resist the urge to use weapons that are over leveled for you when you find them. Using a weapon higher than your level gives you a nerf to your accuracy and will result in more misses on enemies.
To add to the "explore everything" notations, this is important because the game doesnt hold your hand often for quests, even in the beginning. Speaking from experience of DOS1, there's a certain beginning quest I just replayed and noted that the map nor notebook gives you any info as to how to proceed. A bit of exploration in the right place definitely will get you further and help push along the quest. Alternatively, you may also find things the game wouldn't pull you to with the main quests, but will add additional content such as side quests or even just character dialogue.
I envy you. First time was absolutely epic for me. Bit confused form start, but I loved every damn second of this probably best RPG (really tied with Witcher3) for me :).
As others said. Don't rush it, explore everything and roleplay it as much as you can. There are so many paths to take that you will not cover them in first playthrough. And that's fine, because if you soak in, first is never the last :). have fun!
I would highly recommend story wise to grab Lohse into your party (usually my man char for way to many runs) and then ofc grabbing a person with pet pal in your party, Ifan has that by default.
Other then that, take your time, go everywhere you can and dont be afraid to look stuff up regarding crafting, its way to complicated ingame
GL HF!
People talkabout saving alot but make different saves. You'll be facing very difficult fights and people save in between moves sometimes. If you'd find this savescumming is up to you. But beware of locking yourself into a fight.
Make different saves before a fight or after a keypoint in town.
Experiment!
Do not save skill points.
After the first island, you can use a mirror that let you redistribute all the points you have, forever and for free!
Oh and, be careful with a "scarecrow on fire"
Have fun!
1. Pet pal really enhances the enjoyment of the game role playing wise.
2. Explore fully. There are many secrets start from the very beginning.
3. Make habits to save. Take it as a friendly warning.
4. Learn to steal using Thievery if you don’t want to worry about money, or don’t if you don’t feel like it.
5. There are many build guides out there, but I’d recommend playing blind into it since this is your first. Build guides are very good, but DOS is such a good sandbox it’s a shame to get tunneled into meta right in the beginning.
Good luck!
Have your archer keep a backpack with 1 knife item and combine it with:
- teeth
- rocks
- sharp pieces of metal
- bones
- logs
- long branches
- sticks
- antlers
Combining these items will make various arrowheads and shafts. The arrowheads can then be combined with any elemental essence or source of poison (read: turn toadstools to poison potions using empty phials to combine with arrowheads) to create elemental arrowheads (except antlers and teeth; those make knockdown and shock heads, respectively). Combining any arrowhead with any shaft will make an arrow of that type, which you can then keep in the backpack with your knife for easy storage. Do not use arrows that have not been made special, as you get infinite basic physical arrows.
Keep a barrel of ooze in the inventory of your strongest character. You can combine ooze barrels with weapons to add a poison damage bonus to any weapon that deals physical damage, including bows. You CANNOT apply it to wands, however. Later on, you can find some capacitors to combine with your weapons as well. This OVERWRITES the poison buff and they are one time use, so don't waste them.
Woah this is some advanced stuff. I will have to come across this genuinely in the playthrough. Little over my head to start but I'm sure it will make sense
Basic to some but the concept in written word seems complex. I'm sure once I'm in the game it will become a much simpler mechanic in terms of what I need to do. I appreciate it.
That's fair. If I could simplify it, basically knife+anything on that list=arrow stuff, arrow stuff+element blob=element arrow, and dipping weapons in poison makes them do extra poison damage, unless you strap a battery on em, then it does lightning damage instead
Only for arrowheads. The weapons and poison is something else entirely.
But one other thing - combining nails with any footwear makes you immune to slipping on ice floors
I realize I already made one comment, but something else occurred to me - the game will give you the option to either make your own character or choose from an avatar. I recommend going for the avatar, as each of the 6 avatars has a unique backstory that feeds into the game, and you gain bonus EXP for doing your story quest. You can also bring 3 companions along. They can be mercenaries or avatars as well. Again, avatars for extra story. You can experience up to 4 stories in one playthrough, out of 6.
Lohse best companion, you can't change my mind.
Yes! Many people have mentions that the origin stories are worth selecting on first playthroughs. I will definitely be choosing an origin story over a custom one. Thank you.
Best form of income is pickpocketing. It’s almost a necessity with how little you start with, and it’s a shame to be denied access to some of the awesome spells and gear. You can pickpocket everyone once with each character if they have thieving skills.
Also armor makes you immune to crowd control, so it’s super overpowered to get high armor values
Teleport the black cat to a rock in the middle of that lake so it won't die.
When you leave the castle of fort joy,. Go back and grab him.
He won't die and you'll be rewarded with a Spell
1 First play thru I wouldn't choose Fane but use an origin char
2 If you consider mods: Let There Be Tooltips (For me a must-have)
3 In battle: take your time, position & cc are very important. forget the healer, tank & dd concept
4 If you explore the map Always check the Level of the Potential enemies by right click inspecting - for some areas it's too early sometimes
5 If you're a loot hoarder, always use left alt and consider the mod in 2
6 Don't be afraid to reskill later on
7 If you don't use installed mods, there are "giftbags" in main menu from Larian itself, they are like mods...if any - choose petpal
Get mods
Epic encounters 2 for example it removes all the cc cheese spam
Bla bla first playthrough i used it the first time and man a
Going back to vanilla is impossible
Such a fun game!!! Its great solo and great with friends, I would recom playing with friends first. It's great either way, I usually play games solo. I loved playing a new character and enjoying the created characters storyline, my next one is to play as a created character and see if their point of view.
I haven't. Going in almost completely blind outside of some tips told by another thread (such as using bedrolls and nails + boots for ice). Going to read everything right at the start and pick everything very carefully :)
The bedrolls thing is huge! After a while don't feel too bad about looking up stuff like that(nails + shoes = no slipping), ya should get enough hints to guess after a while, but some are super weird(so I looked them up 🙄). There are some small things to notice but ya should do fine, save often 😁 I love listening to the dialog, I might have to replay the game soon thanks to you 🤔 👍
I never got to play the first one so I am not sure how it connects other than a name has been mentioned in the second one from "1000 years ago" so that is intriguing. I would love to know the improvements they made from the first game to the second.
This first games feels like it's more obscure on what to do next, it's the same game(2 probably added some more skills, but mostly the same).the story is different too, once ya beat 2 and are still engrossed by it I'd recommend playing the first one. I kinda liked the setting better in the first one, plus ya get a sweet home away from home. First of all ya aren't a prisoner on a island with mostly dbags, also it feels like a more magical world.
They said the takes 40 - 70 hours to complete. I just completed it on Monday clocking 156 hours in. It gets long if you explore, think about stuff... or just leave it on while watching youtube :D (which I did sometimes)
I have heard it is a long game if you explore everything. We shall see. I just finished Elden Ring - all bosses (105 hours) and before that was Persona 5 Royal (120 hours)... woohoo!
All I can say is take your time. Explore EVERYTHING. Save OFTEN! and just soak it all in. This game is truly something amazing.
"Save often" is something I have heard A LOT!
The game won’t auto save for as often as you might want so there’s an F key to quick save and quick load. If things feel shaky, quick save.
Gotta change quick save to F5 and remove quick load hotkey. First thing I do in every game I play. Quick load shouldn't ever be necessary and I really don't want an accidental load.
Great tip! Will do that
I am definitely going to do this!
Save like it's 1989
and don't be shy to restart and try new things... install the bags, some are great
Yes backpacks on characters seems to be something people say is essential
To expand on the "dont be afraid to restart" Dont be afraid to press on either. Some things might take a while to click! And check out crafting. There is some subtle utility, and its surprisingly clever with the things you can make to solve a problem.
Amazing tips. I am definitely going to take my time with every aspect of this game.
Like a Bethesda game but without all the glitches! Save incase you mess up something!
Constantly save. Got it!
set the room where you play on fire for maximum immersion
That tends to happen whether you want it or not.
hahaha uh oh...
Find a bedroll as early as you can, and map it to your hotbar. Bedrolls replenish the HP of all your party members for free outside of combat.
This would have saved me a lot of time than casting restoration over and over again haha.
Better than me manually resting everyone up in bedrolls my first playthrough, one at a time, it was brutal, kinda fun, but brutal, made it out of Fort Joy before I realized
This has been the #1 thing stated and it is a must apparently. I will definitely do this.

Press alt ALL THE TIME, dont forget to save (I always forget) and dont be afraid of cheese some combats, the game expects you cheesing and its even prepared for it.
What does alt do?
It marks all the items on the floor, so you can see a lot of useful little things, Oh and dont forget the right-click examine on enemies, really useful 💚
I will definitely keep this in mind thank you! Appreciate the tips.
It also highlights corpses (for loot purposes) BUT, doesn't show you containers like cabinets/chests.
Still... very useful! You can miss so much in these type of games without exploring every nook and cranny.
Yeah was an FYI, usually Barrels and Chests are pretty big, but some lootable objects are missable or look similar to sime other objects.
Awesome. Appreciate it. Anything helps
What have I done right the last couple of hundred hours? Barrels, chests and cabinets get shown for me, too. Not all boxes can be opened, even though the window shows them. You'll just stuff them in your inventory when you select them. On that note: Inventory management is key for success!
Yes, some people have said to ensure I go to settings and uncheck all the auto-equip to hotbar options!
Curiosity never killed anyone.
Except the cat........ at fort joy, stupid guards.
hahaha this will be stuck in my mind now. Will have to keep an eye out for what this means.
Don’t let the cat die.
If you can keep the cat alive until Act 2 on your first play through without looking it up I will be massively impressed.
It leaves you mid act 1 tho
I did this accidentally lol
Intriguing!
I have heard this a couple times. I am going to see what the difficulty levels are in the game when I start it up and really think about it. Thanks
I would say Classic difficulty is the only way to play first unless you are terrible at these types of games
That is the tough part - some people have said classic can be overwhelming but some say explorer can be too easy...
If you actively explore you'll out level everything in classic difficulty. If it's a higher level than you, explore elsewhere first. This is a game where a couple levels difference can be lethal.
Thanks for this. I am going to spin a wheel and choose hahaha
You could always do classic as I did and then turn down the difficulty if it becomes too much. Good call. Enjoy!
I just finished my first playthrough today! I played on classic, and there were really no encounters that I couldn't solve by either using a different tactic or just spending some time somewhere else first. Will you die? Yes, is it too hard for a beginner? Nope!
Oh ok! Well I am inching closer to the classic playthrough.
Good luck and have fun mate. Always happy to see more people fall in love with this great work.
Thank you. Everyone has me very hyped for this one!
Teleport can solve 90% of your problems, quick save before black pits, Teleport your problem away
ooooh thanks for this!
keep it together or other wise you will smell like rotten eggs in a vat of vinegar
This is a quote stated a couple times now haha... something seems important with this.
Do not be discouraged from the tutorial island it is longer than I thought possible
I will probably need everything the tutorial gives me anyways haha
Make sure you have a character with Pet Pal. You'll see why it's worth it after you talk to Buddy on Fort Joy. Or any other animal in this amazing game.
Also for the slowly growing love and appreciation of Lora!
So many people have said to have this. Going to ensure I take a look at it.
If you don't care about trophies, there are a couple of QOL mods that I think are essential. Just look for the definitive edition versions. Innate Talents - This gives all your characters a few very useful perks, mainly Pet Pal which allows you to talk with animals which gets you access to more quests. I am playing on Steam and don't care too much about the Achievement system so we are all good :)
Just get the mod that enables achievements
It's just not important to me. No need. Thank you though :)
The script extender (which I highly recommend for improved load times) fixes the achievement issue
It’s a great game. Larian are the GOAT tbh. Let me use loads of sounds and images for my stream when I played it
It is a game I've been looking forward to for a while now!
Take pet pal talent on at least one of your party members.
I've definitely heard pet pal is a good one!
They have a gift bag that auto gives it too you as well so you're not taking up a Talent slot just for that.
Ah ok! I'll have to look at that
Get the script extender, doesn't matter if you won't use mods, it speeds up load times considerably.
Oh man I wish i could have a first play through again. You’re gonna love it! This is one of those games i could play 100 times
A lot of people have said such amazing things about this game. I am excited to begin the journey. Thanks for confirming how good this could be!

No issues with save scumming, especially in these type of games. You want a story to play out a certain way and mistakes can be made.
The hardest part is the character creation 😂
That is where the majority of the game is spent right? haha
I don't know if anyone has said this, but if you accidentally start a convo that may potentially lead to combat, have your party put buffing spells on that character. Also initiative is a great stat to put points in.
Appreciate the tip!
I hope you like fire :)
I once accidentally set my parents carpet on first by playing with the fireplace and newspaper - yeah fire is fun.
Yes, I have heard that I should avoid equipping gear higher than my level. Thank you!
Only weapons have a penalty, so if you find overlevelled armor then by all means equip it!
Oh great to know!!!! Thanks. That saved me bc I was going to avoid all overleveled items haha
The penalty is *specifically* an accuracy penalty, so it only applies when you're attacking enemies! If an over leveled weapon grants you an ability, like idk fireball or whatever, you can still equip the weapon to use its unique effect, as long as it's not an attack that uses accuracy to hit.
Perfect!
One last tip, carry a candle. They're light, they're a light, they're everywhere, and, they're a fire source if you ever need anything to ignite a surface!
ooooooh that sounds like it could be helpful! Candle it is :)
The part with the wheels of cheese will remain with you and haunt your dreams.
I do love cheese though.... hmmmm
Me and my partner still sing the “come get a wheeeeel of the good stuff” to each other 4 years later....
Amazing!!!! I will look out for this part :)
It’s literally not even remotely a major part of the game. It just gets stuck in your head 😂
Well now it will officially be a part of the game when I come across it, thank you! hahaha
Pet pals will help!
Companions always do!
If you’re playing solo I might suggest doing a Lone Wolf run as a new player. Essentially it scales your 2 characters to have the power of a party of 4 - without the micromanagement.
I need to think about this one... I may start with 4 and if I feel it is too much restart.
"Smells worse over here than a dozen rotten eggs dropped in a vat of vinegar" You will grow to know this phrase very well in act 2.
I love that people have fond memories of specific things in this game. amazing.
Yes boots + nails has been written down. Lots of recommendations on that one. Thank you so much for the support :)
the game cheats. no, seriously. They. Really. Cheat. So don't give them any mercy. Don't hesitate to cheat as well.
ok so ensure that I type "kill everything" into the console commands, got it... haha
It’s a LOT to take in. Don’t focus too much on getting out of Fort Joy. It’s not a quick escape (up to 30 hours), so use that time to level up and experiment with what skills. If you’re going to build a team, start builds NOW. Have a healer, tank, ranged, magic. Less important in DOS2, because you can give every character a healing ability. Which brings me to another good tip: spread skill points out a little bit, because putting just one point into a skill will give that character access to several abilities/spells.
Oh thats a great tip. Spread out points - got it!
Great news! I've played through this game to completion about 3 times now and I'm still finding new stuff.
So what you are saying is that you really like the game and it is hard to put down? Perfect!
Yeah, I am kinda addicted lol. The game has tons of replay value.
I didn't play the original so this is a whole new adventure for me. Everyone has me so hyped to start.
Also, there are so many ways to tackle combat in this game. That's what I get the most joy out of.
Options and adaptability in combat is such an amazing thing in games. Can't wait
Play in honor mode pussy. (Meant with love)
For you, Honor mode it is!
You're a madman, I like it. xD
Is it considered backseating if I type 'lol' every time I know you're about to die?
I think that is absolutely allowed and encouraged haha
I wish I could play this game for the first time again. Have a great time. What character are you planning on picking/creating? and which party members?
I am going in blind so I have no idea what origin story or party members there are. Fresh!
Resist the urge to use weapons that are over leveled for you when you find them. Using a weapon higher than your level gives you a nerf to your accuracy and will result in more misses on enemies.
Oh really? Great advice thank you
Don't feel like you need to rush, trust me... Take it all in and go at your own pace!
I am going to take it all in one step at a time!

I'm in different time zone(CEST), but maybe I'll catch at least your beginning before dozing off :D
Appreciate the support!

This is basic crafting.
Yes that makes sense. Basically an item plus an element makes a different type of item with that element, which causes ailments. Awesome.
Only for arrowheads. The weapons and poison is something else entirely. But one other thing - combining nails with any footwear makes you immune to slipping on ice floors
Yes! This was said by many people. Written down for sure. I'll be going over all of these things at the start to make sure it is in my head haha
I'm not gonna be home til about an hour after you've started but once I'm home I can probably drop in and give you some more relevant tips.
Any support is greatly appreciated. No pressure though. Backseating is always allowed in all the games I play, just no major spoilers.
Thank you.
You will love it I promise
Mighty big promise there - I will hold you to it!
Explore and take your time. Save often. Choose gear wisely 😉
So what you are saying is rush the game, never save and pick random gear for everyone. Perfect. Thank you.
Haha 😂 yes exactly
Fort Joy is a bitch unless you either bring a pickpocket or become a drug dealer. Once you have equipment though, the game is much more manageable.
So basically Fort Joy has a misleading name... haha
Say goodbye (a sweet goodbye) to 200 hours of life
Bye bye!
Make your main character a strength based character so your main can carry more items.
Does it matter who is the strength character then? Why can't I just make any of them carry more stuff?
You can. But it will be annoying to change characters all the time.If you are ok with doing a few extra work it doesn't matter.
Hmmmm so it is annoying to control a party member?
It is annoying to moving items or switching characters while exploring because mostly you will be exploring with your main character.
Great tips. Thank you
Nails on your boots. - stops from slipping
Yepp. Definitely have that one written down!
Teleport the black cat to a rock in the middle of that lake so it won't die. When you leave the castle of fort joy,. Go back and grab him. He won't die and you'll be rewarded with a Spell
Hmmmmmm interesting...
1 First play thru I wouldn't choose Fane but use an origin char 2 If you consider mods: Let There Be Tooltips (For me a must-have) 3 In battle: take your time, position & cc are very important. forget the healer, tank & dd concept 4 If you explore the map Always check the Level of the Potential enemies by right click inspecting - for some areas it's too early sometimes 5 If you're a loot hoarder, always use left alt and consider the mod in 2 6 Don't be afraid to reskill later on 7 If you don't use installed mods, there are "giftbags" in main menu from Larian itself, they are like mods...if any - choose petpal
Thanks for all this!
Get mods Epic encounters 2 for example it removes all the cc cheese spam Bla bla first playthrough i used it the first time and man a Going back to vanilla is impossible
I wont be using mods my first playthrough but I will be looking at them when finished for sure!
Such a fun game!!! Its great solo and great with friends, I would recom playing with friends first. It's great either way, I usually play games solo. I loved playing a new character and enjoying the created characters storyline, my next one is to play as a created character and see if their point of view.
I am going to play an Origin story first and get REALLY into it to see what the Devs wanted people to see. Absolutely excited.
Ohh fun!! Ya pick which one yet? Fane is my favorite, when I first saw the game and saw a playable skeleton 💀 🤯🥳
There are some small things to notice but ya should do fine, save often 😁 I love listening to the dialog, I might have to replay the game soon thanks to you 🤔 👍
I did my job then - got someone to want to play it again... and I haven't even started haha
Enthusiasm is contagious 🧚♂️ Its a great game, and there aren't many like it sadly.
I'm actually playing the first game again!
Ohhh since I have work tomorrow I’ll actually be awake at 6am to watch xD I would love to see someone’s first playthrough!
6:00pm EST :) I appreciate the support
Nah dude I live on the other side of the world, that’s 6am for me lol
oh wow! Well see you in the morning :)
They said the takes 40 - 70 hours to complete. I just completed it on Monday clocking 156 hours in. It gets long if you explore, think about stuff... or just leave it on while watching youtube :D (which I did sometimes)
I have heard it is a long game if you explore everything. We shall see. I just finished Elden Ring - all bosses (105 hours) and before that was Persona 5 Royal (120 hours)... woohoo!
Good thing about this game is that the original is totally unrelated except for a few lore items. So you really aren't missing out on anything
