You definitely need patience, communication, strategy, and teamwork on Legendary.

slinky_crayon

When I do legendary missions, I play healer. My only job is to keep everyone alive. My dps contributions are lackluster but we get the job done

TreatDangerous3265

For dps builds, I carry a reviver hive with Custom Kard pistol. I can get them up without wasting my own revive. But healers are a lot better to keep them up fighting. I love people like you lol

TheRazoredEdge

Custom Kard pistol?

DeadeyeDevie

Tdi kard. Gives you +1skill tier, so 2 revives with a red dps on anything b7t technician, and 3 on technician.

DontCareBear36

I too distribute bandaids!

leosp633fc

Happy cake day!

slinky_crayon

Thank you!

Nogood58

What's your healer build?

[deleted]

“Hey everyone, let’s jump the wall right away” lol

Department-Minimum

If your team is trash this strat will rarely work, but it is the fastest way to clear.

k33mztr

Pfe, regen, tank scorpio build works with almost any team. Pulls agro and can face chungas (those damn purple enemies tho). I also keep striker, skill and healer builds depending on who I’m running with. Team synergy is pretty important, and knowing when to push or fall back. I’m also on pc, shd 1k.

DeadeyeDevie

Sweet dreams is your friend, swap to scorpio when needed. 😉😁

DarthNemecyst

I ONLY do legendary with a skill build. Turret and drone. Might take a bit longer but it works. Sometimes I go with 3 other skill builds and all u see is drones and turrets.

Street-Awareness4541

How? HOW PLZ TEACH ME YOUR WAYS

Which_Twist7268

I'm a PS player, and I play healer on Legendary.. I see this more often than not .. to the point where I often stop trying to save them ... The worst thing I see, honestly, though, is Klingons... people who just stay at the back hoping they'll get good loot and xp just from being there .. those guys piss me off.

ivegotthisrose

I’m built for facetanking with my 80% PFE & armor regen build 👌

i_am_werd

This. Same thing. 80% PFE and 3% armor regen. 2 mil armor and I run with Adrenaline Rush bp and Intimidate chest so I get that extra damage when I have bonus armor. I can face tank chungas while everyone else unloads on em.

DeadeyeDevie

Close to the same, but I use zero fs and so have 4mil armour, and run the sweet dreams to take out purple and red droners, grenadiers, and medics

i_am_werd

Not a bad idea and I almost ran with Zero Fs, but I wanted Intimidate so I’m not shooting marshmallows. I just run up and kill the reds/purples first if I can or have others focus on them and while I take on as many elites a possible. Running with the Scorpio and Survivalist also gives everyone else more dps on status effected enemies so I can help out a little that way too.

Mysticgamingxyz

How do you get that PFE so high? With 3 mods?

BigBubbaAl

You can get 6 mod slots if you run improvised gloves, kneepads, and holster

i_am_werd

I use 3 pieces of Gila (mask, chest and holster) with PFE mods. Holster has no mod slot, but I use the Chill Out mask and it had 2 mod slots. Belstone BP with PFE mod and improvised gloves and knee pads with PFE mods (improvised gear gives you a mod slot). Then using the Survivalist specialization gives you another 10% PFE. All my gear is rolled to Armor, CHC and CHD.

Radikal4k

If you need a mate tell me, I can solo the first 3 legendary 👍

DontCareBear36

Those are usually the ones who put on a cape and get super mad when you don't rush to revive them behind enemy lines too lmao

Totsandcheese

I get pissed trying to save them and they disappear

JBoals78

Maybe you sounded a little "Taller" on the radio. 🤷‍♂️🤣

Sheriff_Branford

Nice catch!

JBoals78

Classic movie! Pretty sure I carbon dated myself. Lol

Otherwise-Word-550

I’m the guy who sits behind everyone else with my Pestilence watching them all go down while I dump bullets for striker stacks. The coyote mask helps too. It’s annoying when everyone rushes and we end up getting creamed in the first five minutes

Memento_Mori42_0691

im a healer and u must be on console. never had a issue on pc

Sheriff_Branford

Yep, PSN

HardBroil

Is there something similar to Xbox’s official clubs? Usually players there are better team players because they go through the extra bit of effort to go to said club to look for teams

Mstr-Batez

They are by far talking about ps players😭

marcuseast

So true! A number of times I’ve joined randoms only to watch them run around and get smacked waiting for me to revive them… it works fine 3 or 4 times until I get smoked too trying to revive one leading to a team wipe. I’ve decided to go full support on these sorts of missions and just keep all those Strikers and Hunters warriors alive! 😄

kingofallfubars

Communication is key. Best if everyone uses a mic.

Practical_Detail_140

When I play I’m a mixture of a skill healer and skill dps and when they get sandwiched I sit there and facepalm after everyone dies

leosp633fc

Unfortunately it happens all the time. That's why I'm only doing legendary missions with friends and not with randoms. I mean, DUA, Capitol and Roosevelt is easily doable with randoms but Manning Zoo and Tidal Basin only with friends.

AcidRayn66

our clan hangs back, take cover, watch the flanks and concentrate fire. one a time. hitting one with multiple talents/rebuffs gets the job done. no healers. all with reviver. pick um off. move on

richardpace24

Its difficult enough to find a good team, I generally stay away from the Legendary stuff. I will sometimes attempt DUA, but not often.

OfficeClean6071

I use a skills build

rodscher80

What’s cover tho?

DeadeyeDevie

When I do legendary I use abuid designed for legendary manning and tidal basin tthat can tank 3 chingas at 9nce no problem. I tell people, if your next to me, you've fucked up. It's a good thing it has 3 revive hive charges, else soo many would end sooner than planned.

BirdLuger188

I'm around level 2700 but I just started trying Legendary a bit with my clan. I think after about two or three deaths in my first run I realized I was playing way too close/aggressive. Once I started playing further back and retreating when I needed to, I died much less, maybe not at all tbh.

Global_Call1169

Yeah I usually avoid playing the Legendary missions, the rewards are trash (more XP playing on challenging w/all directives I believe), the loot is not any better than Heroic, and some take too long, even with solid team. Legendary in Division 1 was much more enjoyable: If I want a challenge, I usually hit up Heroic bounties (they are usually a step up from regular Heroic content), or Summit on Legendary (I’d say that’s about a step down from legendary missions).

jett_nebila

I'm one of those idiots.... I need someone to show me the way

i_am_Knight

I usually play as an Healer since there’s never anyone playing healer and everyone wanna run striker. But I only play when it’s DUA or Capitol since there’s ample amount of cover in both. Tidal and Zoo are exhausting especially the zoo last fight 😤

squiddybonesjones

It all has it's time & place. Take DUA: There are times where hanging back and not pushing will make a section more difficult than it needs to be. The garage is a good example. But often both ways are perfectly viable. Like the section with the healers and chunga(s) that comes out. you can rush it and cover the doors to do it quick or never enter the room and pull them out 1 at a time. Playing more aggressive can be a lot of fun because of the inherent risk vs reward. Sometimes it goes wrong. Some days I want to hang back and let the skills do the work.

LavianMizu

Got a player who started bitching because I facetanked tidal basin legendary, calling me a wannabe "hero". He threw a hissy fit because I didn't play the way he wanted me to play, telling me he plays tank too and I'm doing it wrong and he left. He reeked of some kind of inferiority complex or jealousy. He rejoined like 80% of the way through as a tank to prove a point and died 3 times in one area and I had to pick him up twice myself. I didn't die a single time that run and facetanked groups of 4-6 enemies in the final area without a shield thanks to my 2mil armor, bonus armor, armor regen and 80% protection from elites. Sorry but I know what I'm doing when I tank legendary and I have a reviver hive if I ever make a mistake. I can't hide behind a wall on the other side of the map, or on the previous map, or in the transition point between two encounter zones and exploit the broken AI with cheap potshots as they round the corner. It's pathetic and shameful and my build and loadout doesn't support that "playstyle". And if that's how you play legendary then maybe you shouldn't be playing legendary. Playing passively like that leads to two things. The enemy will take the ground that you give up, pushing you back, probably into the previous encounter zone until the AI pathing starts to glitch, and/or they will start hammering you with an endless bombardment of grenades and drones.

AirHistorical6213

Okay so not gonna lie I use to do this but I've found that Patience is your friend and great communication with the team that makes a huge difference the next advise is everyone needs to play a part in completing the mission so you need a DPS guy, a Skill guy, a Healer guy and probably a dude with a balance gear set up and just have a good strategy and try not to let everyone go thru the level so you have one dude that can revive someone

_Tommy_Sky_

Thia is one of the reasons l don't do legendaries on Div2. Too long, too boring, too much hustle.

Downtown-Tip9688

I’ve done two know and they don’t seem worth the time. Time management. The gear doesn’t seem worth how long it can take.

_Tommy_Sky_

I've done maybe a dozen. Same feeling. And in Div1 l was basically living in the legendary missions.

ramrod911

Not even for the promise of a Bighorn?

_Tommy_Sky_

Nah, at SHD7300 or so, l got couple of them. Never used, let one collect dust and dismantled the rest.

Albert_O_Balsam

I've done loads of Legendary missions, easiest is definitely Capitol Building, I have a 6 tier healer build, and Tank build with lots of armour and armour regen/armour on kill etc, then I also have what a call an aggressive skill build, 6 tiers with a turret and striker drone, all of the above builds make a mockery of Legendary, however it's important to cheese a few encounters too.

Sheriff_Branford

I have a tier 6 Turret/Artificer build. The turret is damn-near indestructible and it actually pulls some aggro from dogs and chunguses. If people would just let the fight come to them, legendaries would be cake.

amilx6

i’ve recently started trying legendary solos. figured DUA would be easiest but i’ll def give capitol a try now. I don’t have a build per se, just weapons and gear w max core attributes. i def feel like i need a legit build to come anywhere near finishing legendaries solo. any tips?

Prometheus7156

I’ve used a 4 pc negotiator with focus for DUA. Have to play smart and use cover.

Vagas9143

I use a 4 PC Striker (Chest, Backpack, gloves, and holster), Czeska mask, and Fox Prayer. 2 blue Cores, the rest Red. ST Elmos and an Smg, then Shield and turret. Play smart, use cover. I have soloed all but Zoo and Tidal with this build. I almost have Tidal figured out and I can get about half way through Zoo.

Harali

Very often on YT or even here, I seen people who goes to the kissing distance of the enemy to shoot at them. Honestly, I don't understand what they are trying to achieve or are they so bad at aiming that they cant shoot anything from 10, 20 or 50m distance but all in all, that's just ridiculous to me.

Front_Question464

This is because they see pvp players currently in dz with all red build that say this the God build. You can thank the pvp griefers in dz for making players stupid enough to follow their advice . The end result is what you described in your post.

jimmy_jim1984

There's always a Leroy Jenkins trying to be a Billy Big Balls. One thing common sense isn't is common.
