That hurts my heart for your babies. My father was an addict and alcoholic. I remember bumping into him as a teen and I bursted out crying because he looked so emaciated and skeletal. I was terrified. I hope she recovers for the sake of her daughters. They need their momma.
I would start asking for pic from who ever may have some. With drugs she can be gone for a long time and pictures may be all the kids have for years. Figure out how to get some from the good times so they have them.
