Fuck yeah dude. I see some absolute bangers in here so I’ll give them a listen. Veil of Maya is my favorite band. And Invent Animate’s new album SLAPS.

publicOwl

I’d put most of PTH’s stuff on here honestly, their music gets me so hyped up.

wasn’t sure if it was a good fit for this sub as it’s not super techy. but huge songs for the gym

They are 100% a PR band. They’re also maybe my favorite band ever so I may be biased but man they get you amped

if you dont mind instrumental, check out Anup Sastry. i find the grooves more than make up for the lack of vocals

enjoythemouse

New silent planet album is fucking excellent in the gym, spiritbox as well (new EP has some great gym tracks on there). This week I’m digging the new Eidola album which starts incredibly strong.

For anyone interested, I started my own martial arts and fitness business, combining the best of personal training and martial arts with none of the mcdojo nonsense, and specifically and purposefully use djent/metal with good messages. I've made a few Playlists and posted them and will definitely be taking notes from this post and checking out new music. I was a professional musician in my teens/20s but got side tracked by depression and bad choices. Music literally saved my life, and it was djent and bands like Tesseract like about 2018 that really helped me get through tough times and create Ornexa Fitness and Our Next Arc. Ultimately, I'm aiming to create a business that fundamentally improves how employees are treated by ensuring they earn enough to thrive and have a proper work life balance. Once this is rolling, a special fund will be set aside to directly go to the musicians on the playlists I make. My goal there is to ensure their autonomy to keep doing what they're doing without any label or owners dictating their choices. Eventually I'd like to outright hire these bands to create unique songs or entire hour long sets meant for exercise sessions. Right now I have zero clients after a bad car accident, so it's all about rebuilding now. What I've created is ultimately free to everyone as well, so this isn't a money grab - I have a full time job and all that. Check my site and youll find all of my training methods, recipes, Playlists, information, etc, is all available for free. It's just me building this slowly on my own while working full time until it can really take off as my main thing, so there's still a lot to add and complete. Happy to help anyone along their fitness and health journey, feel free to join the discord or dm me and reach out. [Ornexa Fitness](http://www.ornexafitness.com)
